New to Grow
Seeking support takes courage, and I'm honored to be part of that journey with my clients. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I provide a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship challenges, life transitions, and everyday stressors. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, navigating a difficult situation, or looking for healthier ways to cope, we'll work together to identify your strengths, develop practical tools, and create a path toward healing and personal growth. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs, recognizing that every person's experiences and goals are different. I believe that meaningful change happens when clients feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. My goal is to help you build resilience, improve emotional well-being, strengthen relationships, and gain confidence in navigating life's challenges—one step at a time. You don't have to face life's challenges alone. I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing, balance, and lasting well-being.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your story at your own pace. During this session, I will complete a comprehensive assessment to better understand your concerns, personal history, current challenges, strengths, and goals for therapy. We'll discuss what has brought you to therapy, explore the factors affecting your emotional well-being, and identify areas where you'd like support. This assessment also helps me develop an accurate clinical understanding of your needs and, when appropriate, establish a diagnosis to guide treatment. Most importantly, the first session is about building rapport and ensuring you feel heard, respected, and supported. Together, we'll begin creating a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and goals, so you can move forward with confidence and hope.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to foster a genuine, trusting connection with clients. I believe that feeling understood and accepted is an essential part of the healing process, and I strive to create an environment where clients feel comfortable discussing both their challenges and their successes. I take a thoughtful and individualized approach to therapy, recognizing that no two people have the same experiences or needs. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I work with clients to understand the underlying factors contributing to their concerns while identifying their existing strengths and resilience. My practice integrates evidence-based therapeutic approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Therapy—to support clients in developing insight, strengthening coping skills, and making meaningful, lasting changes. Clients often appreciate my balanced approach of providing empathy, encouragement, and practical guidance. I aim to help individuals gain greater self-awareness, improve emotional well-being, navigate complex life situations, and build the confidence to move forward with clarity and purpose
I work with adolescents (ages 13+) and adults who are seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, or other life stressors. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, facing a difficult situation, or looking to build healthier coping skills, I provide a supportive and collaborative space to help you gain insight, strengthen resilience, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
Other specialties
I identify as
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop practical skills for managing intense emotions, reducing stress, and responding to life's challenges more effectively. Together, we focus on strengthening mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. My goal is to help clients build healthier coping strategies, improve relationships, and increase emotional resilience so they can navigate difficult situations with greater confidence and balance.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns that may be contributing to emotional distress or unhealthy behaviors. Together, we explore the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while developing practical coping strategies and problem-solving skills. My goal is to help clients build healthier thinking patterns, improve emotional well-being, and feel more confident in managing life's challenges.
Trauma Informed Care
I use a trauma-informed approach to create a supportive and empowering environment where clients feel respected, understood, and in control of their healing journey. I recognize that past experiences can influence how individuals view themselves, relationships, and the world around them. Together, we explore the impact of these experiences while focusing on safety, trust, strengths, and resilience. My goal is to help clients develop healthier coping strategies, increase self-awareness, process difficult experiences at a pace that feels comfortable, and build skills that support emotional regulation and personal growth. I approach each client with compassion, sensitivity, and an understanding that healing looks different for everyone.
Compassion Focused
I use Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) to help clients develop greater self-compassion, emotional understanding, and healthier ways of responding to themselves during times of stress or difficulty. Together, we explore patterns of self-criticism, shame, and emotional struggles while building skills that promote self-acceptance, kindness, and inner resilience. My goal is to support clients in developing a more balanced relationship with themselves, increasing emotional well-being, and approaching challenges with greater confidence and compassion.
Grief Therapy
I use Grief Therapy to support clients as they navigate the complex emotions that come with loss, change, and major life transitions. Together, we create space to process feelings of sadness, uncertainty, anger, guilt, or other emotions that may arise while honoring each person's unique grieving experience. My approach focuses on helping clients find healthy ways to cope, adjust to life changes, maintain meaningful connections, and rebuild a sense of hope and purpose while moving through the healing process.
