My specialties are assisting patients manage workplace stress, trauma, along with those that may be at an impasse in life. I take pride in assisting my clients gain a new outlook on their situation. My goal is for patients to leave their session feeling heard, empowered and equipped to manage their situation.
Following introductions and explaining limits of confidentiality we will discuss background and treatment goals for a tailored plan of action during upcoming sessions.
My strength is helping patients to tap into their inner strengths to address their challenges. I also enjoy clinically educating patients, so they will be able to identify behaviors when they arise, and have the tools to handle challenges.
My ideal clients are those who are motivated for change and is open to the therapeutic process.

Sharon is solution-oriented and focused on helping me achieve the goals that I articulated during my in-take. I have a tendency to stray off topic or answer more than the initial question and Sharon is really good at guiding me back to where we need to focus. I appreciate Sharon’s ability to take complex emotions and break them down into bite-sized pieces that help me better uncover root causes.

Sharon is a wonderful therapist/counselor. When I am struggling with my issues, she always helps me through them by giving me tasks or suggestions to me to try to look at things a different way. I appreciate her.
