New to Grow
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who helps individuals navigate life's issues. My approach integrates mindfulness and practical tools to help client better understand their thoughts, emotions, and unconscious patterns so they can create meaningful and lasting change. I strive to provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and move toward the life they truly want to live.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
We'll discuss what brings you to therapy and what you want out of it. We'll explore where you want to start and what direction you want to go. You'll also get a chance to know me and ask any questions to decide if we're a good fit for each other for therapy.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What stands out regarding my approach to therapy is my integration of mindfulness and psychodynamic modalities. I'm able to help clients become more self-aware of their deep-rooted issues and beliefs that become triggers for unhealthy thought patterns, emotions, and behaviors. This then helps clients become more mindful of what is really going on in their internal world, which becomes a catalyst for conscious change to live their best lives.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with adult clients who are feeling overwhelmed and stuck. Clients struggling with anxiety, depression, stressful life transitions, relational issues, and self-esteem issues have experienced great progress working with me. Many clients I have worked with resulted in understanding their emotions better, breaking unhealthy patterns, and developing healthy self-care habits, as well as healthy relationships. I have also helped many clients feel less lost by helping them find direction in their lives.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use mindfulness to help clients slow down and become more aware of their internal experiences in the present moment. By practicing non-judgmental awareness, clients learn to observe their experiences rather than impulsively react to them. This helps clients regulate stress, gain clarity about patterns, and respond to challenges in more intentional and healthy ways.
Psychodynamic
I help clients discover unconscious patterns and themes that manifest in different areas of their lives. This helps clients become aware of core issues and beliefs that control their external reactions and behaviors. This process helps clients identify what they want to change and develop conscious strategies to make positive changes moving forward.
