I am a LMFT with 6 years of experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. In addition to my private practice experience, I have worked and continue to facilitate groups in mental health and substance abuse treatment facilities which has provided me an eclectic clinical experience and training. Working in these settings has allowed me to fine tune my clinical skill set across a variety of clients from all walks of life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is a "get to know you" session. In this session, I will get to know your goals for therapy and introduce my style to see if it will be a good fit. The aim is to ensure you are comfortable enough with my style to do good work together. Part of my priority is ensuring you get the best care.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Throughout my time as a therapist, some of my greatest strengths include being in tune enough with my clients to help them articulate the hard things, challenging client's to think about the hard questions they attempt to avoid, and ensuring clients feel supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

My approach to clinical work is client-centered and collaborative, putting the needs and preferences of my clients at the forefront, and by looking at patterns and behaviors to help facilitate change. I believe in the power of therapeutic relationships and understand that creating a safe and trusting environment is essential for my clients to feel comfortable sharing their innermost thoughts and emotions. In my sessions, I actively listen to you and encourage you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and emotions without judgment. I recognize that each person's experiences and challenges are unique, and tailor my approach to meet your needs. By providing a non-judgmental space, I hope to help you feel heard and validated, which can be a powerful catalyst for personal growth and change. The goal is to help you gain new insights about yourself and your life by focusing on the issues, situations, thoughts, behaviors, and emotions that are most important to you. I understand that mental health is interconnected with various aspects of a person's life, such as relationships, work, and self-esteem. By helping clients gain self-awareness, develop coping strategies, and make positive changes, I will support you in leading more fulfilling and meaningful lives.
