I am a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania. I completed my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from California University of Pennsylvania in 2013. I have been actively practicing counseling since then in a variety of settings, including a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center, private practice, and in a community agency. I am currently accepting clients during weekdays in the mornings and afternoons.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Throughout the course of my career, I have heard clients say things along the lines of, "I didn't know what to expect," when attending a first therapy session. In my opinion, our first appointment should be very predictable. I will have questions about personal and family history, and life experience. There should be no surprises. I will share about my own professional experience, how I prefer to operate in a therapeutic relationship.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I operate with a cognitive behavioral perspective. Our thoughts, feelings and behaviors are constantly interacting with each other, and understanding the relationship between these things will help to provide a more focused, and fulfilling life.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I like to believe that my biggest strength is that I can be a calming influence. It is very valuable to be able to slow down our thoughts and reactions to process our feelings.
