I am a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania. I completed my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from California University of Pennsylvania. I have been actively practicing counseling since then in a variety of settings, including a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center, private practice, and in a community agency.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have worked with individuals struggling with a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, anger, grief and addiction. I aim to create a safe, supportive environment for my clients to process their emotions, and to create positive change in their lives. I hope to help my clients gain a healthier relationship with themselves by challenging their critical self-talk. I have worked with may people who think and say harsh, or even cruel things to themselves; that they would never say to another person, or a friend.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I operate with a cognitive behavioral perspective. Our thoughts, feelings and behaviors are constantly interacting with each other, and understanding the relationship between these things will help to provide a more focused, and fulfilling life.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I like to believe that my biggest strength is that I can be a calming influence. It is very valuable to be able to slow down our thoughts and reactions to process our feelings.
