I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in NJ dedicated to helping others transform their lives and optimize their potential with over 25 years experience. I offers an individualized approach to instill hope and empower clients to overcome life's challenges. Primary modalities used are Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma Informed and Mindfulness based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Creative expressive therapy, Grief Therapy and Trauma Attachment Therapy. This is done in an empathic, safe, and non-judgmental environment.
In our first session together, we'll work to build a trusting bond that allows you the freedom to share your story at a pace that is comfortable for you so you can transform into a confident and compassionate individual.
I assist individuals heal from trauma, develop a sense of security in themselves and heal from negative experiences which have hindered them from intimate bonding relationships with their romantic partner, family member or work associates.
I enjoy working with individuals who has suffered from traumatic experiences and/or grief who would like to learn strategies and techniques to heal from past hurts.
Attachment-based
Provide a techniques to assist clients build steady, caring, emotional attachments in order to regulate emotions so that they can heal and alleviate suffering after trauma.
Strength-Based
We will focus on client's strengths, knowledge, and abilities rather than their weaknesses or deficiencies.
