I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about helping folks on their personal journey by meeting people where they are and working together on their individual goals. I have experience working in a variety of community settings with individuals with differing mental health needs.
Having worked with folks for over 20 years, I have experience working with youth through older adults in a variety of setting and needs.
I also have several years of experience working with survivors of brain injury. In therapy, I use strategies from various modalities, including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, etc. to focus on person-centered growth and healing.
First session
In our first session, we will get an overview of what has brought you to counseling. We will touch of a variety of topics to look holistically at your individual strengths and needs. In discussing your hopes are for our work together, we will start to develop a plan to meet your needs.

Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT is a great way to manage ones internal processes while learning new skills and healing from the past. I however work from an eclectic framework, knowing not all people are helped or supported in life the same way.
