I’m warm, solution-focused, and unapologetically authentic. I’ve been told I’m pretty chill and funny too, so expect some laughs along the way. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating a range of life situations and transitions. My practice includes but is not limited to individuals who may be experiencing trauma, exploring identity, or struggling with confidence and motivation, which can show up in various ways such as feelings of overwhelm, stress, sadness, anger, or other intense emotions. Whatever it may be for you, know this, I won’t lie to you and I won't co-sign on things you tell yourself that are not truths. What I am 100% going to do is gently lift up the things you aren't saying and what you’re avoiding, because the only way out is through. My intention is simple: to support you in navigating whatever is causing you pain, whatever is challenging you or whatever is presenting itself as a barrier. Why? Because, the only way out is to move through. Not above it, not around it, not under it - we have to go through it. Drawing from community defined, and evidence-based practices, I aim to empower clients to develop resilience, self-love, and meaningful strategies for personal transformation. My approach is collaborative, respectful, and tailored to your individual needs and strengths.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, I'd like to listen and connect. Holding space to hear from you what's top of mind and what you want to accomplish from our time together. You can expect me toengage in deep listening and also to share with you how and why I show up to do this work with you. Finally, we will set agreements for how we want to work together. So that together, we can begin to chart our path forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I come to this work with lived experience navigating the behavioral health care continuum, I have sat in the same seat as you. Finding myself seeking care and support to move through life's challenges. Just like you, I found my way through and I am here to walk by side by side with you as you do the same. You don’t have to do it alone. We are in this collaborative process together, and you have support every step of the way. Use the tools, show up honestly, and together we’ll work toward creating conditions for you to live your best life and thrive—mind, body, and spirit.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is used to support in identifying how thinking and behavior are connected. We can then build the skills to re-align these in ways that serve you and support you reaching your goals.

Faith based therapy

For faith-based clients, we explore how spirituality and faith are connected with identity., beliefs and behavior. We will explore how faith principles support you move toward your goals and/or when they may be contributing to distress work through the why and examine how our thought patterns around those principles/scriptures are being applied to our lives.

Motivational Interviewing

The only way out is through, moving through the pain and challenges that bring you to care means that "you have to do the work". We use motivational interviewing for identifying the strengths and barriers impacting your motivation for change and work through how we increase motivation, commitment and ultimately develop skills and strategies to change action and be consistent.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Life can feel overwhelming at times and when pain and hurt occur it can often feel like everything is falling apart. We use Solution Focused Brief Therapy to get clear about what we want to resolve in this moment. Set clear goals to get there and we follow through together. Being solution focused allows us to f focus on getting a "win" and when we do that it often reveals to us that everything isn't all bad, and there is a way through.

Strength-Based

Everyone has strengths, together we work to identify what yours are and how we elevate these strengths and use them to support us overcome whatever challenges and barriers we are experiencing that brought us to care.
