Hello, and welcome to my profile. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LFMT). It is a privilege if you choose to work with me and allow me to guide you through any stressors, confusion, and emotional or relational issues you may be struggling with. I have worked in mental health for over ten years in various settings with diverse populations. I have a particular interest in approaches rooted in cognitive behavior therapy and solution focus. This experience has helped mold me into a well-rounded therapist who understands that sometimes people need help sorting things out and finding solutions, as well as developing a skill set to tackle any stressors or emotional issues hindering their life journey.

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

I am dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming environment where clients can explore challenges related to anxiety, depression, grief/loss, self-care and personal growth. My focus is on assisting clients in developing assertive communication and boundaries with themselves and others, which can enhance their overall quality of life. Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have seen that through exercises in the session and “homework” exercises outside of sessions, clients are helped to develop coping skills, which allow them to learn to change their own thinking, problematic emotions, and behavior. My emphasis is on what is going on in the person’s current life rather than what led to their difficulties.
