Hi! I am a licensed psychotherapist (LCSW) based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. I received my Masters degree from Columbia University School of Social Work and have worked with individuals and families in a variety of community-based settings since 2009. I offer remote individual and couples therapy sessions to those committed to adjusting to life transitions to get unstuck.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, I clarify presenting concerns and symptoms and do not dive into deep processing and reflection. I introduce my style, and approach to treatment and if comfortable with the pace, we collaborate on 1-2 treatment objectives for our work with one another. At the end of the first session together, I leave clients with a handout on Grounding Techniques to support between session.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Due to my work with youth and families, I pride myself on leaning on social work basics, starting with the client and really meeting them where they are at. Since I work remotely, when they choose to login for the session, then I can do the good work they deserve to reach those measureable and attainable goals.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Due to my background working with youth and families, I enjoy working with individuals and couples who navigated past mental health experiences without success and are ready to embark on a therapy journey that that is more collaborative, and strengths-based to refine unresolved skills and overcome unresolved feelings. If that is you, then you have found the right therapeutic guide!

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

This theoretical approach supports those clients in need of modifying old and adopting new tools and skills to reduce unhealthy patterns of behaviors impacting their social/interpersonal relationships. I generally lean on this approach to engage clients during trauma processing.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Best treatment approach for those clients requesting short-term treatment with clear goals around replacing negative thought patterns.
