Life is hard and ever changing! Let’s try to work through it together. Seeking out help can be a hard step to take, but it is also very important. I think you will see pretty quickly how beneficial it can be for you. I specialize in helping clients with anxiety, trauma, depression, and adjusting to life changes (divorce, change in careers, parenting difficulties). However, I also work with clients with any other types of needs which they may want to address within talk therapy. You will find that I am a caring, warm, and approachable person. I aim to make all my clients feel comfortable and truly cared about. I think one of my biggest strengths is my sense of humor.
It will feel like a comfortable talk with a caring friend. It typically involves just getting to know you as a person, not only discussing your issues. It will also likely include some humor and laughs to break the ice.
I tend to work well with other professionals who are seeking guidance in adapting to this ever-changing world. I tend to work best with individuals who are motivated. I would say my specialty would be work with those who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and past traumatic experiences. I also enjoy working with those seeking assistance in athletic related concerns. However, I am willing to do my best to help with any mental health issues. Individuals who typically are not a good fit for me include those with narcissistic and borderline personality disorders.
Professionals, mental health workers, and athletes. I do well with people who have intellectual curiousity, insight, and a desire to change.
Other specialties
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I find that this is usually effective for many conditions and works with a wide array of clients.
