New to Grow
I'm a therapist who believes good therapy starts with feeling comfortable, not like you're sitting across from someone with a clipboard. I bring warmth, honesty, and a little casualness to our work together. I'm also neurodivergent myself, so I know firsthand what it's like to navigate a brain that works a little differently. That lived experience makes me a better therapist , not just a more empathetic one, but a more real one. I'm the kind of therapist who will laugh with you, be straight with you, and when you're ready, go to the deeper and harder places right alongside you. With experience spanning from early childhood all the way through older adulthood, I've had the privilege of working with people across every stage of life and across a wide range of needs. No matter where you're starting from, my goal is always the same : to meet you where you are and grow with you throughout the process.
Our first session will feel more like a conversation than a formal intake. I won't be reading through a checklist of questions , instead, I want to hear from you in whatever way feels natural. We'll talk about what brought you in, what you're hoping to get out of therapy, and what's been on your mind. There's no pressure to have it all figured out. By the end, we'll have a sense of your goals and a starting point we can build from together ; knowing those goals may shift and evolve as we go, and that's completely okay.
I keep it genuine. Therapy with me is collaborative, honest, and guided by you ; I'm here to walk alongside you, not direct you. I have ADHD myself, and navigating that diagnosis has given me a genuine understanding of what it means to be neurodivergent. That lived experience shapes how I show up for clients , with empathy that goes beyond textbook knowledge. I'm also not afraid to go deeper when you're ready for it. Sessions are casual by design, because I've found that people do their best work when they feel at ease rather than on the spot.
Over the course of my career, I've had the privilege of working with people across virtually every stage of life; from young children as early as age 3 all the way through older adulthood. I've supported individuals navigating everything from everyday stress and life transitions to more complex, severe mental health challenges. Honestly, I haven't carved out a narrow niche , and that's intentional. I genuinely enjoy the variety, and I've found that my comfort across different populations and presenting concerns allows me to show up fully for a wide range of clients. Whether you're a parent seeking support for your child, an adult working through something long-standing, or somewhere in between, there's a good chance we'd be a great fit. If I ever feel another provider would serve you better, I'll always be transparent about that.
Humanistic
I believe you are the expert on your own life. Humanistic therapy creates a space where we explore who you are, what you value, and what's been getting in the way of living fully. Rather than focusing on what's "wrong," we focus on your strengths, your growth, and your potential , because healing often starts with simply being seen and heard.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
In our work together, you lead the way. Person-Centered Therapy is built on the belief that you already hold the capacity for healing, sometimes you just need the right environment to access it. I provide a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely, at your own pace, without fear of being judged or directed. My role is to walk alongside you, not ahead of you.
Integrative
No two people are alike — so why should therapy be one-size-fits-all? I use an Integrative approach, which means I draw from a range of evidence-based methods to tailor our work specifically to you. Depending on what you're navigating, we might explore thought patterns, process emotions, work through past experiences, or focus on building practical coping skills. The goal is always the same: to meet you where you are and help you get where you want to be.
