Hi! I’m Ileana, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) based in Texas. I bring over a decade of experience in providing comprehensive mental health support to adults and children facing various life challenges. My practice is dedicated to fostering resilience, promoting personal growth, and helping individuals navigate transitions with confidence and self-awareness. My approach is centered on creating a safe and nurturing environment to foster healing and growth, helping each individual to thrive and achieve their fullest potential.
Welcome. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 22yrs of experience working with individuals from all walks of life, and I love working with individuals in helping them with life challenges and barriers to their happiness and living their best life. My strengths include being a good listener, starting where the client is in their life, helping them to change the things that no longer serve them well.
I am a licensed therapist helping individuals navigate anxiety, relationships, and life transitions with clarity and confidence. I create a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly heard, and I combine evidence-based practices with real-world understanding to support meaningful, lasting change. Whether you're feeling stuck or simply want to grow, I’m here to help you move forward. My path to becoming a therapist began with a deep curiosity about human behavior and a strong desire to help others feel seen, understood, and empowered. Through my own life experiences and academic journey, I witnessed the profound impact that compassionate, skilled support can have on a person’s healing and growth. I pursued formal training in Social Work, earning my degree from The University of Alabama, and completed extensive clinical experience in diverse settings—from community mental health to private practice. Along the way, I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based practices and a deep appreciation for the unique stories each client brings into the room. Becoming a provider has been both a personal and professional calling. It’s a privilege to walk alongside clients on their journey, helping them navigate challenges, reconnect with their strengths, and move toward a more fulfilling and authentic life.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with adults to overcome problems with mental, emotional, substance abuse, spiritual, and or relationship conflicts. I gained my therapy skills via work in an Inpatient, Residential, and Intensive Outpatient facility focused on helping individuals with severe psychiatric and chemical dependency issues. I am the owner/operator of His Strength Counseling, serving individuals seeking faith-based counseling. I am a certified therapist specializing in Trauma and Personality Disorders. I have experience facilitating and creating groups and counseling individuals and couples. My 5 years serving in the United States Army helped me become more disciplined and culturally competent, with the ability to participate in multi-disciplinary settings.
When everything feels like it’s piling up, having a space that feels steady and supportive can be a relief. I show up with warmth, calm energy, and genuine curiosity. Clients often describe me as someone who listens closely, helps them feel understood, and brings clarity without judgment. I’m practical and down-to-earth, but gentle in how I guide the work. I value honesty, balance, and helping people reconnect with who they are beneath the stress. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, seen, and able to move at a pace that feels right for you.
Hi, I’m Donna, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I work with adults who look like they’re “fine” on the outside, but inside they’re overwhelmed, exhausted, anxious, or emotionally shut down from trying to hold it all together for too long.
Many of my clients come to therapy because they feel stuck in patterns they can’t explain—people-pleasing, overthinking, guilt, emotional blowups, shutdowns, or staying in relationships that don’t feel safe or steady. Sometimes the root is trauma. Sometimes it’s years of stress, loss, or family dynamics that taught you to survive instead of breathe.
In our work together, we’ll slow things down, get clear on what’s actually happening (and why), and build practical tools you can use in real life—not just in session. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I’ll help you understand your nervous system, strengthen boundaries, untangle painful relationship patterns, and reconnect with the parts of you that have been carrying too much for too long.
If you’re ready to feel calmer, clearer, and more like yourself again, I’d be honored to support you. You can schedule your first session whenever you’re ready.
--- I have experience working with community based mental health agencies, managed care, and private practice. My passion is working with children and families. I believe that the family is an important institution to society, that needs to be preserved. I am sensitive to the clients perspective and I never prescribe or make recommendations that are in direct violation of the client culture, values or beliefs.
My specialty areas include: trauma, child abuse, parenting issues , family therapy, coping with loss, play therapy, stress management and life transitions. I approach therapy from a client centered approach, focusing on validating the clients feelings displaying empathy, with a strong emphasis on the client being the expert.
Hello,
I was born and raised in Stockton, California. I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of 17 and in 1997, after 25 yeas of service, I retired from the Marine Corps as a Master Sergeant. After retiring from the Marine Corps, I worked as a Farrier (Horseshoer), as well as a structural welder (Ironworker), as those were the most marketable skill that I had. I came to a point where old injuries came back to haunt me and I could no longer walk (several years later, thanks to a surgery through the VA, I can walk again; thankful for that).
At this point, I changed professions and out of a desire to work with veterans, I returned to school, accomplishing all that was necessary to become a licensed counselor. I spent another career working for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically as a counselor in the Readjustment Counseling Service (Vet Center). I recently retired from the Vet Center and now I work part-time here with Grow Therapy.
As a retired Marine senior staff Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) and disabled combat veteran myself, the Vet Center was the perfect job. Vet Centers provide readjustment counseling to combat veterans and provide counseling to survivors of military sexual trauma (MST). Vet Centers also provide group counseling, bereavement counseling and couples counseling when this is determined to be of support to the veteran.
Readjustment counseling many times consists of treating/addressing symptoms related to post-traumatic stress (PTSD), I.e., anxiety, depression, exaggerated startle response, hypervigilance, sleep disturbance, etc. Many veterans go on to work as first responders and working with many first responders as well as medical personal, has provided me with a great deal of additional experience.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I specialize in working with individuals of all ages. I have found that online therapy for adults is effective, convenient and the post pandemic way to obtain therapy. I am solution focused, and I practice the client centered approach theory.
My background is in secondary education and school counseling, for 27 years. I have had my counseling license for 13 years. I am currently a part-time, private counselor, using online with adult clients and in person, for youth, through non-profit, school programs.
I earned an A.A. in Historical Studies from San Jacinto College, Central Campus, La Porte, Texas, June of 1991. I earned my B.A. in Secondary Social Studies from the University of Houston, Clearlake Campus, in Houston, Texas in June of 1994. And I earned my M.Ed. from University of Texas State in San Marcos, in December of 2010. I later added my license in Professional Counseling, in April of 2011. I am interested in the ways trauma impacts the individual and plan to be trained in EMDR, within the year.
I am empathetic to the challenge that real life experiences bring and the need to heal and evolve from the times in our lives when we have lived predominately in our shadow side. I am a non-judgmental listener; I help my clients process their hurt and I inspire them to move towards best version of themselves.
I find the key components to a therapeutic relationship between the counselor and the client is the foundation of trust, honesty, transparency and non-judgmental listening and reflection.
I believe that everyone has a purpose, life lessons that they work through and opportunities to heal, transform and evolve emotionally, spiritually and mentally.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who helps adults work through anxiety, depression, self-doubt, and life challenges. I offer a safe, supportive space to talk, reflect, and grow. Using practical tools and real conversations, I help you find clarity, build confidence, and create lasting change. I offer my services based on years of experience. I offer my services in the States of Texas and Oregon.
At the Child & Adult Behavior Center, we help both adults and children, as well as parents.
For adults, we help you find ways to cope with stress, anxiety, loss and depression. Not only talking through and understanding, but also concrete "what to do about it" coping skills, lead to calmer, more stable emotions and relationships. We find cognitive behavioral therapy very useful, and within that, learning the skills of mindfulness, a form of in-the-moment meditative thinking, to calm and focus the mind when emotions overtake. This fosters a new way of viewing and handling stressful situations as they arise.
For children's therapy, we work with you, and with your child. Parents' feedback is a critical part of helping children feel and do better. We help you with parent-child interactions to find your way as you navigate the seas of child behavior. Our specializations are the treatment for Aspergers/autism, ADHD, Oppositional Defiance, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, emotional self regulation, the behavioral and emotional aspects of sensory issues, anxiety and depression. Our special programs also treat a wide range of neuroatypical, developmentally challenged children. Neuro-typical parent-child relationships, family relations, and parenting issues for all children and teens are also our focus. We help - you help your child - with ideas and techniques to put into action. Ideas that can greatly reduce the stress and storm of being a parent in the trenches. Peace in the home is possible!

I help high-functioning adults and professionals who feel emotionally exhausted, stuck in survival mode, or disconnected from themselves despite appearing “fine” on the outside. My approach is direct, grounded, and compassionate, helping clients better understand their nervous system, process unresolved experiences, and build emotional resilience without judgment. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, stress, self-worth, and helping clients reconnect with a more confident and balanced version of themselves.
With each step of my career as a therapist I have discovered fragments of myself, pieces I had disowned but needed to reclaim to truly empathize with my clients. Through that perseverance, I have emerged not unscathed, but enriched, understanding that confronting my own challenges enabled me to extend a hand, not just as a therapist, but as a fellow traveler in the labyrinth of healing.
Hi there! My name is Brooke Elliott and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Since 2018, I’ve worked in various mental health settings helping my community connect with resources that build self-esteem. I have been practicing as an individual therapist since 2021. Growing up with undiagnosed neurodivergence, shame and struggle marked my everyday interactions with my family and the world around me, as well as my view of who I was as a person. I learned what it felt like to be alone with my anxieties because I didn’t have the words to express to others what I was feeling on the inside. Learning that there was a reason for my struggles opened a new world of self-acceptance and empowerment, one that allowed me to take charge of my life and give myself the care I had been missing. Today, I get to work with people who struggle like I did to find a "method to their madness". Together, we'll get rid of the shame that stops you from finding the acceptance you deserve and work towards building a life that fits within your unique needs.
Hi, I’m a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), and I’ve been working with clients for over 10 years who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted and not sure where to start. I earned my Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. I’m also certified as a Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship struggles, career challenges, and major life transitions, especially when life feels like “too much” on the inside, even if you’re still managing on the outside. My goal is to provide a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and talk honestly without judgment or pressure. Together, we work to understand what’s keeping you stuck and build practical tools to help you feel more grounded, clear, and in control again.
I offer therapy in both English and Spanish because feeling understood in your own language matters. Ofrezco terapia en inglés y español porque sentirse comprendido(a) en tu propio idioma es importante.

If you're living with a serious illness, caring for someone who is, or navigating a loss that has changed everything — you already know that the hardest part isn't always the medical reality. It's the fear that doesn't leave. The exhaustion of staying strong. The feeling that you should be "over it" by now, but aren't.
I've been there. After recovering from my own serious illness, I found my way back to myself — and that experience is at the heart of everything I bring to this work.
For years I've specialized in supporting people navigating cancer, serious illness, and profound loss — and for the past several years I've been doing that work through Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a gentle, evidence-based approach that helps your brain reprocess painful memories and images without requiring you to relive them out loud. Many clients experience significant relief in just one to three sessions.
You don't have to keep managing fear. There's a way through it.
My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling lighter — not just heard, but actually shifted.

I help teens and women heal from complex childhood trauma, neglect, and abuse—especially when those experiences show up as people-pleasing, identity loss, painful relationships, intense emotions, or a complicated relationship with food and their bodies.
I became a therapist because this work genuinely matters to me. Over the past nine years, I have seen how trauma can remain hidden beneath perfectionism, overachievement, unhealthy relationships, disordered eating, and the feeling that you have no idea who you are because you spent so long surviving. I also understand that trauma symptoms are frequently misunderstood, treated only at the surface, or confused with features associated with diagnoses such as Borderline Personality Disorder or Bipolar Disorder. I take time to understand the whole person—not just the label.
I am warm, down-to-earth, and honest. I balance validation with respectfully challenging the beliefs and behaviors that keep you stuck.
I have ADHD, two tiny chihuahua coworkers named Bryn and Blair, and licenses to provide therapy in Florida, Illinois, Texas, and Colorado. I am proudly a girls’ girl, and my practice is mainly focused on the mental health and relational experiences of teens and women.
You will find me easy to talk to, compassionate, and warm.
Working together in a collaborative effort, we will explore ways to help you identify and change thoughts and behavior patterns that keep you from feeling your best. I will tailor your therapeutic needs specifically designed to fit your circumstances to achieve optimal mental health. Searching for the 'right fit' with a therapist doesn't have to be a difficult task. It begins with our working together to empower you to be your own 'change-agent'! I will help you reflect, finding clarity and understanding, allowing you to achieve a more authentic, fulfilling and content life.
I have over 20 years experience as a mental health counselor , guidance counselor and career counselor. I like to work with individuals experiencing life changes that may need someone to help them with transitions or focusing on problem resolution. Hi, I’m Dr. Ebony B. I’m a licensed therapist, healing guide, and space-holder for people who are tired of being the strong one. If you’ve been carrying the weight of emotional pain, burnout, or the pressure to keep showing up for everyone else, this is your space to put it all down and just be.
I work with Black women, caregivers, and high-achieving professionals who often feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or like they’ve lost themselves somewhere along the way. I promote a warm and genuine environment without judgement. If you are ready for positive change and want to take the next steps, I am here to empower you on your journey. I look forward to meeting you.

I chose to get a PhD in counseling because of my desire to help others, and my continuous drive to learn and grow. Therapy was essential to me as a teenager, then as a young adult, and now as a middle-aged adult. I have always found it to be a powerful tool in allowing me to process my thoughts and feelings, both about my past and my future. As a result, I chose to become a therapist, to provide the same support and guidance to the people I work with!

I am a Christian Clinical, Forensic and Sports Neuropsychologist. Like many folks who get into the mental health field, I had certain mental health challenges. My family of origin was burdened with addiction and mental health. I currently have 40 years of sobriety and am intimately familiar with 12 Step, Christ-centered and Mindfulness aspects of recovery.
I specialize in the treatment of Trauma and Addiction with family systems and attachment orientation. As a trained child psychologist I also place particular emphasis on developmental aspects of trauma. As a former Navy psychologist with many years working with veterans and first responders, I am very familiar with those cultures.
I played college soccer, run 20 marathons, taught scuba as well as being an award winning underwater photographer and competed at the CrossFit World Games for 3 years. I am married, have a son (retired Navy) and a daughter in heaven.
