I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over three years of experience, and I’m passionate about helping you reach your full potential. Together, we’ll uncover the barriers that may be holding you back from making the positive changes you deserve. I understand that life can feel overwhelming at times, especially when it comes to navigating relationships and understanding your own self-identity. My approach is all about empowering you to embrace your authentic self. We’ll work together to break down the obstacles in your way and create space for growth, healing, and even moments of laughter. I’m committed to providing a safe and non-judgmental environment where you feel truly heard and understood. As your guide, I’ll support you in setting healthy boundaries, developing effective coping strategies, building confidence, and increasing self-love. I look forward to walking alongside you on this journey toward becoming the best version of yourself. Let’s begin this transformative process together.
In our first session, we’ll take the time to get to know each other in a comfortable and supportive space. I want to hear your story and understand what brought you to therapy, as well as what you hope to achieve. We’ll work together to create a plan that’s tailored specifically to your needs and goals. This is your time, and you’re in charge of the process. My role is to guide and support you as we navigate the path toward the outcomes you’re striving for. I’m here to ensure you feel heard, understood, and empowered every step of the way. Let’s start this journey together.
As a Navy veteran and military spouse, I bring a unique perspective and deep understanding of resilience, adaptability, and the challenges that come with navigating life’s transitions. Having had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures, I value and respect the richness of your unique experiences and perspectives. One of my greatest strengths is creating a judgment-free, safe space where you can openly share your thoughts and feelings. My goal is for you to feel truly comfortable in our sessions because I believe comfort is the foundation for meaningful change. Think of me as a passenger in your vehicle—you’re the driver, fully in control of your journey. This is your story, and I’m here to support and guide you as you navigate toward the destination you envision for yourself. Together, we’ll work to overcome obstacles, identify new possibilities, and create the change you need to live a fulfilling life.

In our work together, I use different approaches based on what feels right for you, but one key approach I often use is called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). The main idea behind ACT is that, before we can make real change, we first need to accept where we are right now—whether that’s dealing with difficult emotions, challenging situations, or unhelpful thoughts. Acceptance doesn’t mean you’re giving up or resigning to how things are; rather, it’s about recognizing what’s happening and acknowledging it without judgment. Once we accept where you are, we can focus on figuring out the best way to move forward. ACT also encourages us to think about what’s truly important to you—your values—and use those as a guide to take meaningful actions, even in the face of discomfort or difficulty. Together, we’ll work on embracing your current reality and committing to actions that lead you closer to the life you want.
I use a solution-focused approach to help you take a clear, practical look at the goals you're working toward. Instead of focusing too much on the past or what’s going wrong, we’ll zero in on what you want to achieve and how we can get you there. We’ll start by identifying your goal and then break it down into smaller, more manageable steps. This makes the goal feel less overwhelming and gives you a clear path to follow. Together, we’ll figure out what’s worked for you in the past, what strengths you already have, and how we can use those to move forward. The goal is to keep things focused on what’s possible, making steady progress toward the changes you want, one step at a time.
With Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), my goal is to help you understand how your thoughts and actions can impact the way you feel and the changes you want to make. Often, we may have negative or unhelpful thoughts that hold us back, without even realizing it. Together, we’ll work on identifying these thoughts and patterns so that you can see how they might be affecting your life. Once we spot them, we can start challenging and changing those thoughts, replacing them with more realistic and helpful ones. We’ll also look at how certain behaviors might be keeping you stuck, and work on creating healthier habits that support the changes you want to see. The aim is to help you feel more in control of your thoughts, actions, and ultimately your life, so you can move toward the positive changes you’re looking for.
With Motivational Interviewing, my goal is to help you tap into your own strengths and resources, so you feel more motivated to make the changes you want in your life. Instead of telling you what to do or pushing for change, we’ll have a conversation where I’ll ask questions to help you explore what matters most to you and what might be holding you back. I’ll help you reflect on your values and the reasons you want change, while also acknowledging any doubts or struggles you might have. Through this process, you’ll gain a clearer understanding of your own motivations, and we’ll work together to find the best path forward. The aim is to increase your confidence in your ability to make change and to help you feel more ready and empowered to take those next steps.
