Hello! Welcome to LIV Counseling, LLC!
I would like to congratulate your act of courage in embarking on this journey. I understand for many sharing their personal struggles is not easy. Vulnerability is uncomfortable. With any success one must get comfortable with being uncomfortable.
I created LIV counseling in 2021 to fulfill my desire to help those who feel lost, lifeless, emotionless, and withdrawn from life's greatest pleasures. I believe everyone has the ability to be the best version of themselves. I am Mexican by nature and American by heart. I integrate both cultures to provide my authentic rhythm to the work I provide to my clients. I also value honesty, commitment, and communication, thus, incorporate these values into my practice. I am also a licensed Reiki master (energy healer) and have a background in spiritually. I help my clients with discovering their inner world and become the best versions of themselves.
My focus is reconciliation. Healing is often achieved through us becoming reconciled with self and/or others. It can be a process that allows us to identify and modify our thoughts and behaviors. We are all a work in progress and rightly so as circumstances are constantly changing. I believe that each person should have an opportunity to express themselves in a safe, nurturing, judgement free zone. As we seek to gain an understanding of self and others, often we experience a shift in our processing. If you are stuck or it feels like you are spinning out of control like a hamster on a wheel, let’s talk about “it”.

What if you could write the story of your life? The truth is, you can, you are in control of your destiny, you are writing the story of your life right now. The choices you make are directly related to the thoughts you have. That puts you in control, you have the ability to change the way you think, and when you change the way you think, you change your life.
The thoughts you are thinking right now are writing the story of your life. If you are not happy with the story, you can reprogram your thoughts to change the story and write it the way you want it to go. Together you and I can work to manage the challenges you are facing today.
Therapy may seem scary or even overwhelming, but with the right partner you really can change your life. Together we will explore how your thoughts and the dimensions of wellness are affecting your life and find a path to change the story of your life, to one of positive emotional and mental well-being.
I have been a trauma trained therapist that has worked with teens and families for over 20 years in schools, hospitals and private practice settings. Hi there! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. For the past seven years, I've dedicated myself to supporting individuals navigating a wide range of mental health challenges. From the quiet solace of counseling centers to the dynamic environments of foster care and psychiatric hospitals, I've had the privilege of connecting with people from all walks of life.
I believe in the power of empathy to foster genuine connections and create a safe space for healing. By actively listening, validating emotions, and offering unconditional support, I strive to build trusting therapeutic relationships that empower my clients to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.
Whether it's providing crisis intervention, facilitating therapeutic groups, or conducting individual therapy sessions, I approach each interaction with compassion and a commitment to evidence-based approaches. I am passionate about tailoring treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client, empowering them to develop the coping skills and resilience necessary to thrive and grow.
