Welcome! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) currently living in Pennsylvania, but was born and raised in California (Bay Area). I have been practicing as a Marriage and Family Therapist for 19 years, and am licensed in both states. I find therapy rewarding at all ages, but specifically enjoy working with adults and families. I specialize in working with women and men who are experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, negative self-image. I work with clients to help them discover their true self, underneath the expectations they have placed on themselves or feel pressure from others. Mr. Brown is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in interpersonal relations and reality testing. He utilizes structures that include individual, couples, family, alternative relationships, and/or process groups. He is licensed to practice clinically in Tennessee, Florida, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Virginia, and has a private practice located in the heart of the Nashville Black Community. He is an avid supporter of the needs, culture, and outlook of the African American community, while operating within an African Centered framework. Mr. Brown enjoys studying, teaching, and implementing Ancient African history. He recently traveled to Accra, Ghana during the Year of Return. With over 10 years of experience providing therapy, interpersonal training, and life management. I utilize various treatment approaches including trauma resolution, solution focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques. I will walk with you along your journey, providing a comprehensive treatment plan for your success.

I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 12+ years of experience. My specialties consist of psychosomatic illnesses, relationships, and career counseling. I received my Bachelors degree in Child Psychology, initially working with the teen/young adult population. I then transitioned over to adults as I pursued my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Dr. Ayers has her Master's in Social Work from Fordham University, her MS in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola University in Maryland, and her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Neumann University. Dr. Ayers is currently completing a second doctorate, a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.). Dr. Ayers utilizes an eclectic approach to her work, including Cognitive Behavioral, Existential - Meaning Centered, Solution Focused, Humanistic and Mindfulness based therapies. Dr. Ayers is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Complex Trauma Certified Professional (CCTPII). Dr. Ayers holds multiple certifications in trauma as well as the integration of mental health and spirituality. Throughout her career, she has worked in the medical field and in both community and private sectors. Dr. Ayers is affiliated with the American Red Cross as a Disaster Mental Health Manager and Instructor and has traveled throughout the United States assisting survivors of natural and human caused disasters, with a specialization in management/leadership roles in mass casualties.
