Hi, I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Pennsylvania. I received my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in individual, family, and group settings, including residential and outpatient counseling. Currently a school counselor, I previously worked full-time with trauma survivors, helping clients navigate challenges like depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, self-esteem, relationships, and more. My approach focuses on creating a safe space where we can work together to improve your quality of life, using CBT techniques and trauma-informed care.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
As a therapist, I believe my greatest strengths lie in my trauma-informed expertise, diverse client experience, and evidence-based approach. I have extensive experience working with trauma survivors, which allows me to create a safe, empathetic environment that fosters healing and trust. Additionally, my ability to work with children, adolescents, and adults in individual, family, and group settings, including residential and outpatient counseling, enables me to adapt my approach to meet a wide range of client needs. I specialize in addressing challenges such as depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, self-esteem issues, and family problems, and I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to help clients manage their thoughts and emotions. My focus is not just on alleviating symptoms but on improving my clients’ overall quality of life, supporting their personal growth and well-being. One of my core strengths is my ability to build strong, trusting relationships with my clients, creating a collaborative space where they feel understood and empowered. My background in multiple counseling settings, including my current role as a school counselor, has also given me the flexibility to address a broad spectrum of issues and provide support in a variety of contexts.
I love working with trauma survivors seeking support in processing their experiences and rebuilding their lives. And clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, or grief and are looking for a safe, empathetic space to heal. Clients with experience relationship or family problems and need guidance in improving communication and connection. Clients who face self-esteem issues or stress and want to build confidence and resilience. And clients who are children, adolescents, or adults in need of tailored, developmentally appropriate support. Who could benefit from CBT techniques and trauma-informed approaches to address and manage their challenges effectively.
