Hi
I am Pat Windsor a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been providing therapy for over 20 years to countless individuals and couples.
I pride myself in providing a calming and serene environment. Clients and friends tell me I have "a therapist voice". I love to see my clients grow and become the person/people they want to be.
My goal is to contribute a more personal touch of care to you. I love working with essential oils and working with clients with anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, trauma, parenting and relationship concerns. Let go of stress, impatience and anxiety and bring peace and success to your life.
I began training to be a psychotherapist 15 years ago after having worked in publishing for many years. Becoming a Social Worker and helping others has always been a kind of calling for me, but it took a little while for me to arrive at my goal. I hope that that part of my story helps to prove that it is never too late to change or to pursue goals. I continue to integrate the things that I have learned through formal education and through my own experiences of life so that I am best able to help others who are experiencing distress and difficulties with navigating life.
We all need additional support from time-to-time, especially given the complicated, fast-changing world we live in. My goal as a psychotherapist is to be a source of support and assistance as you develop insight into the difficulties you face and as you begin to develop strategies for change. Through interactive-therapy sessions, I help you to understand and clarify life’s challenges and I support you as you begin to make the changes that are needed to make progress towards your goals. I help my clients to discover and explore a positive path in therapy that they can then continue to follow as they pursue their goals and their lives independently.
My name is Rene Stockton (pronounced Reni). I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois. I serve my community as a counselor, therapist and change agent. I have had the privilege to work with individuals and families from primarily underserved populations and communities over the course of a 30 year social work practice in two great American cities.
I have encountered child, adolescent and adult challenges ranging from trauma to writer’s block and wellness. I will partner with you to create the soft and more concrete changes you are looking to achieve in your life.
My style is open, supportive and person centered, we will choose the approach for your situation using a variety of theories and concepts including art, movement, and EMDR.
Hello! I'm a licensed clinical social worker from Chicago, Illinois. I received my masters in social work from the University of Chicago in 2022 with a specialization in trauma-informed care. I work as a clinical supervisor at a community mental health agency on the souths side of Chicago. Apart from therapy, I am a musician, chicago resident, and a proud uncle.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work with over 40 years of clinical experience in healthcare and provided clinical interventions targeted with patients who are interested in a journey of personal growth through therapeutic interventions to assist with healing and good mental health. I specialize in HIV/AIDS, LGBTQI concerns, oncology, HIV/AIDS, end of life and life transitions. I am licensed in Florida and Illinois.
I'm a licensed clinical social worker specializing in supporting trauma survivors — especially adults who experienced emotional, physical, or sexual abuse during childhood. If this describes you or someone you care about, I encourage you to reach out and begin the healing process.
In our work together, you will feel safe and secure as we move slowly and gently through the concerns that brought you in. It's remarkable how much profound healing can occur within the simplicity of a therapy relationship. Often you won't even need to talk about the trauma in detail — instead, you can allow yourself the gift of identifying and expressing your feelings about your experiences. It's a gift you deserve — one we all deserve.
The pathway to healing is open to you, and I will do my best to help you get there.
I work with adults, children & teens, and their families. My approach to therapy is restorative and invitational. I encourage you to keep an open mind, trust the therapeutic process, and be willing to take thoughtful risks as we work together. My goal is to help you build the insight, knowledge, and skills needed to address your concerns and create meaningful, lasting change.
I have more than 25 years of experience helping adults, children & teens, and families in crisis from my private practice. I have also worked in schools, with law enforcement and military personnel and their families, in correctional facilities, and I have been a clinical director for an inpatient hospitals and a residential treatment center. Additionally, I worked in the Canadian Arctic, traveling monthly to train and consult in education, healthcare, and correctional facilities for over 20 years.
Hello! I'm so glad you've found your way here.

Whether you are a new or soon to be parent navigating the beautiful, chaotic, and often overwhelming journey of raising a child, or a dedicated spouse seeking tools to strengthen your relationship and connect more deeply, I understand the weight and the joy of those roles.
My practice is inspired by Christian values of hope, unconditional worth, and peace—as beautifully captured in Matthew 10—I approach therapy with genuine compassion and a client-centered focus. Whether your faith in Jesus Christ is a cornerstone of your life or you are simply looking for a therapist who respects these values, I offer an integrative, non-judgmental approach.
Together, we'll work toward restoring your peace, empowering you to make positive changes, and nurturing the incredible person you already are. I look forward to walking this path with you.

Therapy can be a space to slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin making changes that feel meaningful and realistic.

I want you to feel comfortable being completely yourself while also feeling supported in challenging the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can start exactly where you are.

Growing up with two parents who struggled with addiction, I experienced anxiety and depression at an early age and made a conscious choice not to become a product of my environment. Instead, I chose a different path , one rooted in healing, understanding and helping others find their way through difficult chapters of their own lives.
My lifelong interest in human behavior and emotional functioning led me into this field, where I strive to help clients gain clarity, develop meaningful coping skills, and move toward their desired goals. This flexibility allows me to adapt our sessions to what works best for you, whether you’re seeking tools to manage stress, improve relationships, or create positive changes in your daily life.
Above all, my goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel comfortable being yourself and confident that you don’t have to go through life’s challenges alone.

In the midst of it all, you might be trying to figure out who you are, what you want from life, how to have that honest conversation with your friend, setting boundaries with a parent, whether to switch jobs, learning to be more comfortable in your skin, etc. It’s a lot to manage. I can help.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and completed my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology 18 years ago. Honestly, I can’t see myself doing anything else. My experience includes working with kids, teens, and adults; people with traumatic brain injury; and developmental and/or intellectual disability in community mental health, state-based inpatient services, and hospital settings for crisis assessments. I have a passion for helping others, and I want to be there to support people dealing with depression, anxiety, past trauma, grief, or anything else being experienced. My strength comes from knowing God has called me into this career, and I genuinely want the best life for you.
I believe that everyone has inherent strength. While I can be direct and to the point, I understand that this conversation is about your life, not mine. I also believe in the power of laughter and that everyone is capable of leading their best life.
I live in a multi dog/cat/parrot household and odds are good you will not just hear them but may occasionally see them. No worries they don’t judge and have been sworn to HIPAA secrecy.
I believe that meaningful change starts with clarity, insight, and a plan. I help people navigate trauma, substance use, life transitions, and identity shifts with a calm, focused approach. I bring a strategic mindset to therapy—always looking beneath the surface to understand patterns, build structure, and support long-term growth. Whether you're processing deep emotional wounds or trying to make sense of a major life change, I offer a space that’s thoughtful, nonjudgmental, and grounded in evidence-based care.
Do you feel stuck in a pattern that is negatively impacting your overall wellness?
Just as important as the "why" is the "what" aspect of the mind. What we think, what we feel and what we believe are all intertwined with our behavior. Exploring the thoughts and beliefs that underpin certain actions can lead to profound self-awareness and personal growth. In my interactions with clients, I have witnessed the transformative power of uncovering and challenging deep-seated beliefs that no longer serve them.
While patterns and commonalities may emerge among individuals, it is crucial to remember that each person's mind is a unique landscape. What works for one may not work for another, and it is my duty as a clinician to adapt the plan of care accordingly. As a therapist and health coach, I incorporate a holistic (mind/body) approach.
At SAM Counseling & Wellness, we believe that healing begins with feeling seen, supported, and understood. Our mission is to help clients build resilience, restore balance, and rediscover hope through education, one mindful step at a time.
We believe that therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, strengths-based approaches, and attachment-informed interventions to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we explore how past experiences shape present patterns, identify healthier ways of coping, and develop practical tools that foster resilience, emotional wellness, and lasting change. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients feel empowered to heal, grow, and thrive—not just manage symptoms.
I’m Lauren Dircks, LCSW, a licensed therapist in Illinois with immediate openings. Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, or life transitions and longing for a safe space to turn? My passion is creating a supportive, empowering space where you feel truly seen as you heal and grow.

In my clinical work, I gain perspective and understanding of real-life challenges of clients that have experienced personal struggles. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their life issues. The goal is to best support the client to recognize what they need out of therapy.

I have several years of experience treating individuals, families, and adolescents using a holistic, empathic, and trauma-informed approach. Watching friends and family struggle with mental health and substance abuse issues fueled my passion for helping those who struggle with these difficulties from a place of understanding, patience, and empathy. I received a BA in psychology first, which led to obtaining a substance abuse certificate. I gained experience working with families and individuals and, after some time, I was ready to further my education and obtained a Master of Social Work. This helped me expand my clinical skills and learn more targeted therapy modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, psychoanalytical care, and art therapy. I found these approaches are a great synthesis of neuroscience, trauma, and creativity.
I’m Nydia, a licensed clinical social worker with 15 years of experience. I offer a warm, affirming space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. As a child, I always wanted to pursue a career where I could assist with an individual’s growth, creativity and happiness. I learned at a young age the struggles that life can bring, not only through the inevitable, but also through situational traumas that we at times have to face and endure. Being an active member in the clinical field of helping professionals, I have certainly learned the importance of patience, empathy and peace. Identifying and securing ones’ purpose in life, creates the true masterpiece of one’s story. My goal is to assist you in your journey to self-actualization.
Something brought you here. Maybe it is a specific problem that needs solving, or maybe it is a general sense that things could be better. Either way, reaching out takes courage, and you deserve to work with someone who takes that decision seriously.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief and various types of life transitions. My work is grounded in deep compassion, hope and the belief that every person has inherent worth. My approach is warm, direct, practical and tailored to what you need. For clients who desire it, I integrate Christian principles and faith-based perspectives into our sessions, offering a space where your spiritual journey can be interwoven into your healing and growth.
I draw from psychodynamic and mindfulness-based approaches as well as from cognitive behavioral therapy. But honestly, the research is clear: the most important factor in therapy is the relationship between therapist and client. And that is what I seek to prioritize in my work with people. I believe in this work because I have seen what happens when people get the right support. It changes everything.
Outside the office I am an outdoor enthusiast, a Bible nerd and a firm believer that rest is productive.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience, supporting people through various stages of life. I have worked in a variety of contexts over the course of my career including community mental health, corrections, private practice and the Veterans Administration.
