Hi everyone! I'm Josh. Do you struggle with social anxiety and poor self-confidence? I know that overcoming it is possible! Many come to therapy because of childhood trauma and how it has manifested in their adult lives. Often this manifests in feelings of poor self-confidence, self-worth, and social anxiety. At its root, the fundamental belief of those who have social anxiety is the belief, “I am not enough.” Clients get into the habit of comparing themselves to others and it makes them feel inadequate and insecure. Over time clients begin to avoid situations that elicit their anxiety, particularly social situations. This can lead to social isolation and loneliness. Clients will present with complaints of frequent panic attacks, not having a romantic partner, not having friends, not being happy in their jobs and feeling disconnected from life. They are labeled by others as shy, quiet, or introverted. This scenario described myself for much of my life which gives me lived experience to better able to assist you. I help individuals combat their social fears and begin to live a rich and fulfulling life. I do this through cognitive behavioral therapy techniques primarily but also integrate solution-focused therapy, assertiveness training, exposure therapy, and acceptance & commitment therapy. Whether you're a teen struggling to make friends and socialize or you are an adult unable to speak up at work meetings or unable to ask someone out on a date, I'm here for you! Seeking therapy can be frightening but I want to assure you that you will be most welcome if you take that leap of faith!

Hi,
I am a Christian counselor first and foremost. I specialize in assisting individuals that use their spiritual faith as a weapon against mental illness. I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma and those with a history of sexual abuse. Most people at some point in their life will deal with depression. I strive to help my clients determine the cause of their depression from the root. I assist them in acquiring skills to help themselves daily overcome depression.
Sometimes people just need enough information and tools that can be used whenever they need it. I enjoy teaching and educating my clients to learn how to manage their mental health after therapy is over. I am also here for when people need someone to walk along with them through their situations until they can see the light of better days!

Hello my name is Tiffany Rose, a native from Miami Florida, wife, and mother to three beautiful children. Through the years as a child into adult living there is much to learn about our mental health and wellness in life. In my journey I came across the importance of creating time so I can learn about my true self, what brings me peace, how I can learn from my mistakes and ways to evolve each year.
My mission work is focused on sharing with others about finding stillness in their life, as we can easily become consumed by the demands of every day life finding ourselves easily frustrated and unhappy. Through stillness we can heal, we can restore, and we can live a purpose life.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or interested in signing up for a session to learn more about your journey.

Biography: I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I facilitate the spiritual, mental and emotional healing process through talk therapy. The focus of most of my adult life has been to be a skilled helper to people in need. As I moved through my theological training, I realized that, often, others needed deeper support than "church" alone could give. I pursued further education to become a clinical counselor to meet those needs.
I have worked in a variety of clinical settings including, outpatient community mental health, inpatient/outpatient substance abuse/addiction, sex offender therapy in the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, mental health professional in the Florida Department of Corrections, inpatient and day treatment of chronically mentally ill, and private practice.
I believe my gift, in the counseling relationship, is that I help others see things for themselves. I also have a Christian world view which informs my interaction with others. I am a compassionate, non judgmental, "Wounded healer". Yes, I have had to negotiate life's struggles like anyone else. So, it is not just an academic exercise with me. I offer compassionate support while we work through your mental health issues including, depression, anxiety, stress, anger, fear, grief, loss, codependency, and self esteem issues.

Anxiety. Depression. Relationship problems. We all have experienced it from time to time. If you believe you are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma or any combination of stress that has impacted your peace of mind, then we would be a good fit. You are certainly not alone in your struggle, and you deserve to recapture the peace of mind and joy that escapes you these days.
I am Dr. Walter Prather, and I can help. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 25 years’ experience. I apply the power of compassion and understanding to help adults and adolescents achieve their best selves. I view therapy as a safe place to explore mental health struggles or challenges, while simultaneously helping you get out of your own way. I am most interested in what is open to view, as diagnoses or labels are not goals or problems. The therapeutic relationship is a process of learning about the client’s understanding and experience of a problem, whether the discussion involves a range of issues from loneliness, anxiety, depression, anger to family conflicts. The key to therapy for my practice is being sensitive to a client’s (or family’s) way of understanding the problem(s) in terms of age or stage.
My work draws heavily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), in combination with the solution-focused approach (SF), and most effectively treats addiction, anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, and individuals or couples experiencing relationship or parenting difficulties. As a Ph.D. or doctoral level behavioral analyst and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, one of my most challenging specialties includes dealing with difficult or complex child behavior, such as ADHD, at home, school, or both. Regarding anxiety and depression, the ACT stance is that thoughts and feelings are not problematic in and of themselves; only when we respond to them in rigid, inflexible ways, such as control and avoidance, do they have disturbing or unsettling effects. Through ACT, you will benefit from being more psychologically present, more in touch with your values, more able to make room for the inevitable pain of life, more able to take effective action in the face of emotional discomfort, and more able to appreciate each moment of your life.
