Starting therapy can feel empowering, confusing, or even intimidating—and it’s worth taking a moment to recognize the courage it takes to take this first step toward caring for your mental health. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where you can explore challenges related to anxiety, depression, self-care, and more. My goal is to help you strengthen communication and boundaries with yourself and others so that you can improve your quality of life and move toward the future you envision. Therapy is not just about overcoming obstacles—it’s also about personal growth. Together, we’ll clarify your goals and identify strategies to help you move toward them, whether that means change over the next month, six months, or a year. You’ll leave our sessions with practical insights and “next steps” you can put into action right away. I believe life’s purpose isn’t simply to be happy, but to find meaning—and within that meaning, joy emerges. While the journey isn’t always easy, it can be transformative. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Addictions Professional, Internationally Certified Drug Counselor, and Behavior Analyst. I take a strength-based approach, helping you use your unique abilities to address challenges. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to empower you in creating lasting change. Most importantly, I bring a relaxed, compassionate, and trustworthy presence, fostering a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe and supported.

Hello! My name is Janeree and I've been helping people with their mental health for eight years. I have experience in working with individuals with trauma, anxiety, OCD, and addictions. To help my clients that struggle with these challenges, I use psychodynamic approach, CBT, ACT, exposure therapy, and Socratic questioning. I have also worked with couples in which I use the Gottman Method, which has helped several couples work through and strengthen their relationship. There have been times where instead of couples' therapy, individuals came to me on their own with problems in their romantic relationship. In those cases, I have found that exploring attachment style (anxious, avoidant, etc.) has worked best.

Have you been overwhelmed with trying to navigate through the way you show up in your relationships with others, making you question your own self-identity? The goal is to help my clients navigate through some of these feelings/emotions with self-curiosity and compassion. I will always help hold a safe space for my clients to explore new therapy tools through a lens that is focused on self-discovery. One strong area of knowledge I offer is being trained in EMDR, standing for (Eye Movement, Desensitization, and Re-processing), which is a newer trauma-informed therapy that can be a good fit for clients that have tried therapy in the past and still feel stuck in a problem or are not sure if progress was even made. This is only one of the types of therapy approaches I offer. We will decide together what feels most supporting for you in our time together.

Hello and welcome. My name is Inessa -- I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over 4 years of experience serving clients in private practice-type settings throughout the Sacramento area. Over these years, I have accumulated a passion for working with Clients looking to address challenges around their relationships (couples therapy), as well as neurodivergence and perinatal issues. I’m not a sit-back-and-nod type of therapist -- I love to collaborate with my clients to meet their goals and see them move past beliefs and/or patterns that have haunted them for many years. That being said, I show up as a grounded and collaborative therapist with an experiential approach. Outside of therapy, I am a wife, new(ish) mom, sister/daughter, musician, crafter, ADHD-er, and the occasional "world traveler". I was born and raised in Sacramento to Slavic immigrant parents. I am fluent in Russian and Ukrainian, and also provided therapy services in those languages.

Hi, I’m Kayla! I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist passionate about helping adults and couples build healthier relationships, feel more confident, and create lives that feel fulfilling and authentic. Before becoming a therapist, I spent nearly a decade working in education, where I saw how powerful it can be when people feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. That experience continues to shape my work today. I’m naturally curious about people, value personal growth, and believe that meaningful change happens when we approach ourselves with both compassion and honesty. My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I want you to feel comfortable being yourself, whether you’re navigating anxiety, struggling with self-esteem, feeling disconnected in your relationship, or working through challenges with trust, communication, or intimacy. I’ll meet you with empathy and without judgment, while also offering thoughtful feedback and gently challenging patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Therapy with me is about more than just talking through problems. Drawing from CBT, DBT, the Gottman Method, and sex therapy techniques, we’ll explore the roots of your struggles, recognize unhelpful patterns, and develop practical tools you can use in everyday life. We’ll work together to identify what matters most to you and define what meaningful progress looks like. I have a particular passion for couples and sex therapy, helping people navigate sensitive conversations, deepen emotional and physical intimacy, and build more satisfying relationships. I’m committed to continued learning and growing as a therapist so I can better support the people I work with. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. My hope is that you leave therapy feeling understood, more confident in yourself, and empowered to create the changes you want in your life and relationships.

¡Hola! I’m Dr. Aglaed Mayorga (ah-GLAH-ed), a licensed psychologist in private practice serving individuals across California. As the proud daughter of Nicaraguan and Mexican immigrants, I was born and raised in Los Angeles in a home where Spanish was the only language spoken. For over twelve years, I’ve worked in both clinical and forensic settings, supporting people from all walks of life through talk therapy for anxiety, depression, and relationship struggles, especially when family turmoil, abuse, or trauma makes everything else feel heavier. Maybe, it's hard to finish tasks, or you're struggling with relationships, work, or your health, and being kind to yourself feels impossible. Hi, I'm Dani, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working with high performers, athletes, teens, and adults. My practice starts with an honest audit of your values. Not the ones you think you should have, the ones you actually matter to you. From there, we explore identity: who you are, what you stand for, and where the gap sits between that person and the goals you've been chasing. That gap is where burnout quietly takes root, especially when your motivation comes from external factors rather than internal ones. I also walk with clients through grief and loss, because performance and emotional pain often coexist, and both deserve space. In session, you'll get warmth, honesty, non-judgment, and humor. I'll validate your story, then warmly, move us from talking about it to taking action. Insight alone doesn't change a life. Together we'll focus on what's actually within your control and build a life by your own design. You don't need to have anything figured out when you arrive. All are welcome here.

You’re the one everyone counts on. Who’s holding you up? You show up for your job, your family, your aging parent, your friends, and you make it look easy. Inside, you’re exhausted, stretched thin, or not quite feeling like yourself. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps overwhelmed, high-functioning adults and caregivers understand how stress is affecting their mind and body, so they can feel steadier, more grounded, and more like themselves again. Here’s what makes my approach different. Stress doesn’t only live in your thoughts. It shows up in your sleep, your shoulders, your patience, and your energy. As a certified yoga teacher currently training to become a yoga therapist, I combine practical talk therapy tools with mindfulness and body-based practices, so you leave sessions with something you can use that same night. I grew up between two cultures and worked overseas as an NGO worker, and I’m fluent in English, Korean, and Japanese. If you carry expectations from more than one world, such as the dutiful child, the reliable one, or the one who “should” be able to handle it, I understand the in-between, and you won’t have to translate your story for me. My role isn’t to tell you how to live. I ask thoughtful questions, offer fresh perspectives, and help you reconnect with strengths you already have, even when stress, grief, or change make them hard to reach. You don’t have to wait until you hit a wall. Reach out today and let’s start where you are.

Often, we feel we should be able to figure things out or manage life’s challenges on our own. But working with a skilled mental health professional can make all the difference. I’m Michelle, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, burnout, major life transitions, perfectionism, people-pleasing, relationships, and questions around identity and belonging. I have a particular interest in working with first-generation individuals, children of immigrants, and Asian Americans navigating the intersections of culture, identity, family, and emotional well-being. My approach is what I like to call “soft but strong.” I want therapy to be a space where you feel safe enough to slow down, reflect, explore your thoughts and feelings, and simply be yourself—especially if you’ve spent much of your life being the one who was told you were “mature for your age,” the responsible one, or the one who always had it together. At the same time, I believe growth sometimes asks us to step outside of what feels comfortable. I’ll offer support and validation while also providing grounding, gentle challenge, and accountability when it feels helpful. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused and Strengths-Based approaches. Most importantly, I want to meet you where you are and work alongside you to create a space where you can better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and grow into who you want to be—on your own terms.

I particularly enjoy working with African American individuals (Black), BIPOC (Black Indigenous People of Color) and adult folks; as well as individuals who are dealing with the lingering effects of relational wounds/attachment wounds, and/or emotional overload. In addition, I work with women that are trying to navigate complex relationships; including but not limited to those that have experienced infidelity in their past relationships (either by being unfaithful or having had relationships with people that were emotionally unavailable); as well as women that are looking to find clarity regarding their own complicated relationship experiences without guilt/shame. With experience across community mental health and school settings, I provide strengths-based, evidence-driven care for adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma. Together, we’ll gain better understanding of our patterns and build practical strategies to help you navigate life’s transitions with confidence and resilience.

Hi, I'm Sarah, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, and I'm so glad you're here. If you've been carrying the weight of anxiety, burnout, trauma, life transitions, or simply trying to hold everything together for everyone else, you don't have to do it alone. My approach is warm, genuine, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy should feel like a conversation where you can exhale, be fully yourself, and know you're accepted without judgment. Together, we'll build on your strengths, process what's been weighing you down, and help you move toward a life that feels more grounded, connected, and authentically yours. Outside of the therapy room, you'll usually find me cheering at a soccer game, trying a new recipe in the kitchen, or enjoying live music with family and friends. I believe healing happens through connection, and I strive to bring that same authentic, human approach into every session. I'm so glad you're here, and I'd be honored to be part of your journey.

Hi, I’m glad you’re here. ¡Bienvenidos! Starting therapy and meeting someone new can feel a little uncertain. For me, therapy starts with getting to know each other and building confianza, so you can feel comfortable being yourself and telling me what’s really going on. Sometimes we all need un ratito to slow down, breathe, and hear ourselves again. I’m a bilingual English and Spanish speaking therapist, the daughter of immigrants, and a first generation college graduate. My language, culture, family, and the way I was raised have shaped how I see the world and how I approach this work. They’ve also taught me to stay curious about the experiences, relationships, cultures, communities, and environments that have shaped you. I’m also a Certified Nature-Informed Therapist (C-NIT), and nature is an important part of how I approach our work. That doesn’t mean every session has to be about nature or that you need to be outdoors. We might use grounding, natural imagery, mindfulness, nervous system awareness, or find ways for you to connect with nature in your own surroundings between sessions. Sometimes it’s simply about slowing things down enough to notice what’s happening inside of you. You may be used to being the one who keeps going, figures things out, or takes care of everyone else. Maybe lately you don’t quite feel like yourself. Maybe you’re anxious, tired, going through a transition, questioning a relationship, or realizing there are things you’ve carried for a long time that you finally want to understand.

Yes! If you use Tufts Health/Cigna you’ll be asked to verify your Member ID at the time you book the appointment. However, if you don’t have Tufts Health/Cigna you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
