New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who provides a warm, supportive space for adults navigating trauma, grief, and challenges related to self-esteem and body image. I use a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach to help clients process difficult experiences, build coping skills, and reconnect with their sense of self. My goal is to support meaningful healing, resilience, and lasting emotional growth.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask about your current concerns, background, and goals, while also giving you space to share at your own pace. We’ll briefly review confidentiality, answer any questions, and begin identifying what feels most important to work on. The goal is to create a safe, supportive foundation for our work together.
What stands out in my approach is a calm, collaborative, and trauma-informed style that prioritizes safety and trust. I integrate supportive therapy, strengths-based work, and EMDR to help clients process trauma, grief, and self-esteem concerns in a way that feels manageable and paced. Clients often leave sessions feeling heard, more grounded, and better equipped with tools to support emotional regulation and long-term healing.
I am best positioned to serve adults navigating trauma, grief, and challenges related to self-esteem and body image. I work well with clients who are seeking a safe, supportive space to process difficult experiences, build self-awareness, and develop healthier coping strategies. I support individuals in exploring patterns, strengthening resilience, and fostering self-compassion. My goal is to help clients move toward healing, emotional balance, and a more grounded, authentic sense of self while feeling empowered in their growth and daily life.
EMDR
EMDR-trained; I use it to help clients process trauma, grief, and self-esteem or body image concerns, incorporating the BLS platform to support bilateral stimulation during sessions.
Grief Therapy
I have experience supporting clients through grief using a compassionate, client-centered approach. I help individuals process loss, navigate complex emotions, and adjust to life changes at their own pace. In my practice, I integrate evidence-based methods like meaning-making, emotional regulation, and ongoing connection to the loved one, while creating a safe space for honest expression and healing.
Supportive
I use supportive therapy to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space, helping clients process emotions, build coping skills, and strengthen resilience.
Trauma Informed Care
I provide trauma-informed care by prioritizing safety, trust, and empowerment, while recognizing the impact of past experiences and supporting clients at their own pace.
Strength-Based
I use a strengths-based approach to help clients identify and build on their existing abilities, fostering confidence, resilience, and growth.
