I have been providing individual and group therapy for over a decade. I can support you in learning to regulate your emotions, developing self-awareness, identifying and communicating your emotions, practicing and developing social skills and awareness, increasing self-compassion, improving communication skills, clarifying your personal values, goals, and intentions, learning how to advocate for your needs, and improving your personal relationships.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first meeting we will focus on getting to know each other, familiarizing you with the process of therapy, and discussing your goals for therapy. I will ask you some questions about your family, medical, and personal history, as it relates to your current concerns. In addition, we will discuss what we might do together in therapy to reach your personal therapeutic goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My therapeutic approach includes a strong clinical foundation in evidence-based treatments, such as Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, but is also largely informed by the individual preferences and needs of each client. My goal is to provide support to you that is accessible, compassionate, productive, and nurturing.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, relational conflict, developmental delay and transitions, ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. My therapeutic approach is highly influenced by the tenets of attachment therapy, and I believe that positive change is most likely to happen when the therapist and client have established a relationship that feels safe, consistent, and supportive, and that the positive experiences in this relationship will carry over into your other relationships.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I primarily utilize client-centered and cognitive-behavioral techniques. I also like to adapt and create my interventions based on the unique qualities and needs of each client. Other techniques that I use include art, play, and family therapies, as well as mindfulness-based interventions.
