I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner(PMHNP-BC) with an additional master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT). I treat patients in person and via telehealth with medication and therapy. Working with me, my clients experience less difficulty navigating life stressors, and more confidence in their abilities to meet their goals. My expertise and experience allow me to provide these individuals with comprehensive, tailored care to aid their mental health journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During your first visit with me, we will conduct a thorough psychiatric diagnostic evaluation, which serves as an opportunity for us to discuss your reasons for seeking help, your treatment goals, as well as your mental health, medical, and family history. This session is designed to create a comfortable environment that fosters open communication, allowing me to understand your unique circumstances and needs. With this information, I can then develop the most effective treatment plan tailored to your specific situation, marking the first step in our collaborative journey towards improved mental well-being.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a mental health provider, one of my strengths is my commitment to truly listen and comprehend the issues and concerns of my clients before providing any recommendations. I conduct rigorous and thorough evaluations to ensure that I fully understand each client's unique situation. Additionally, I closely monitor my clients' progress throughout their treatment, constantly adjusting strategies as needed to ensure the most effective outcomes are achieved.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I serve a broad spectrum of clients. This includes individuals struggling with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), women dealing with postpartum depression, and those battling various anxiety disorders.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

Supportive psychotherapy and medication management for my clients will depend on the individual and their needs. I like incorporating Transactional Analysis as a way to get to know my client, and for my client to learn about themselves. All methods involve elements of CBT as well.
