New clients continue care with this provider

Hey there, my name is Sharda (Shar-day), and I am a California Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I enjoy helping adults work through stress and challenges, while also celebrating the victories. My approach to therapy is letting you lead the way! You know your life better than I do, I'm just here to help you learn different ways to live your best life!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session together, I will ask background information, fun things about you, hobbies and interests. We will then work together to identify what brings you to treatment, a goal you would like to achieve and how we can work together to get you there.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am good with incorporating my client's personality into the session while allowing them to be seen and heard. I take pride in getting to know my clients to create a personalized treatment plan that will further them on their journey to live their best life. I enjoy using humor when appropriate in session. I'll show up to our sessions authentically myself, and I welcome my clients to do the same.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

If you're ready to do the work, I am ready to help. Sometimes starting your therapy journey can be challenging, and I get that. You're taking the first step in looking for a therapist, that's a small victory.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to focus on solutions to the challenges you currently face. It is a very straight forward approach, and I will follow your lead.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help take a look at your thought patterns and identify ways to improve them. Addressing thoughts can help you change unwanted behaviors and feelings.
