I am most passionate about working through trauma and grief. I know what it is like to feel desperate. I know what it's like to wake up in the morning and wish I hadn't. I know what it's like to lose hope. And I know what it's like to gather bits and pieces of myself and seek professional help. With that help and through my faith, I've not only found hope, I have slowly put pieces of me together again. If I can find hope, if I can laugh and love again, you can too.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
You can expect an empathetic and encouraging ear. I want you to know that you are not alone.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strength is my resilience and empathy. I've experienced PTSD, depression and anxiety. Grief knows my name. My faith and a good therapist have often grounded me and served as a guide to wellness. I am a proud Black woman from the heart of Dixie. I am a daughter, a sister, a wife and a mother. I am an auntie, a grandmother and a friend. Wearing those hats and adjusting them until they fit are strengths as well.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
Women who know we've got work to do and are ready to get to work.
Narrative
'We listen and we don't judge'. We can all benefit from an empathic ear...

I've been out of therapy for 2 years - Ms. Agnes was EXACTLY what I needed to help me get back on track. Her warmth and authenticity were such a comfort. I feel like I'm talking to one of my aunties - no judgement, just wise counsel delivered directly, but with so much love.

This is exactly what I needed. Agness actively listened and I felt heard and supported. I left with a homework assignment that will guide my continued journey. Agness was warm, authentic and that I could talk with her openly as it relates to my relationship with God.
