New to Grow
I am a compassionate and down-to-earth therapist who believes healing happens through authentic connection, trust, and feeling truly heard. As a Latina therapist, I value creating a culturally responsive and welcoming space where clients can bring all parts of themselves into the therapy room. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, helping clients navigate life’s challenges with greater self-awareness, confidence, and practical coping skills.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to create a space where you feel welcomed, heard, and supported. In our first session, we will explore what has been going on in your life, what you hope to gain from therapy, and what support looks like for you. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable while beginning to identify goals for our work together.
As a Latina therapist, I bring cultural understanding, warmth, and an appreciation for the ways our identities, family dynamics, and life experiences shape our emotional well-being. I create an inclusive and supportive environment where clients can feel seen, understood, and empowered in their journey toward healing and personal growth.
I enjoy working with adults who are seeking a supportive, nonjudgmental space to talk through life’s challenges. My ideal clients may be experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem challenges, or simply feeling overwhelmed and wanting support as they navigate a difficult season of life. Together, we work to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful changes that align with their goals and values.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier ways of coping, and build practical skills to manage challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client’s unique experiences and goals.
I provide a supportive space for clients to process grief at their own pace while honoring the unique nature of their loss. I help clients explore difficult emotions, adjust to changes in their lives, develop healthy coping strategies, and find ways to maintain meaningful connections to what they have lost while moving forward.
I use a strengths-based approach by helping clients recognize and build upon their existing strengths, resilience, and personal resources. Together, we identify what is already working, explore opportunities for growth, and develop strategies that empower clients to navigate challenges and achieve their goals.
