Hi! I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) based in Maryland. I received my master’s from Purdue University Global and have been practicing for 7 years. I served in The United States Army, and I help veterans struggling with post traumatic stress disorder and to transition into civilian life. I help adults struggling with managing mental health symptoms and to become the best versions of themselves.
In our first session together, we’ll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you’re facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I bring warmth, honesty, adaptability, and a solution-focused perspective to each session. I meet clients where they are while gently challenging patterns that may be keeping them stuck. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each client’s needs, combining practical coping strategies with space for meaningful reflection. Clients can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where they feel heard, respected, and empowered to create lasting change.
My ideal clients include members of the LGBTQIA+ community, veterans, teens, individuals from BIPOC communities, and those navigating substance use concerns. I enjoy working with clients who may be struggling with identity, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, major life transitions, or finding healthier ways to cope. Clients do not need to have everything figured out—they only need to be open to exploring their experiences, increasing self-awareness, and taking steps toward meaningful change. My goal is to provide an affirming, culturally responsive space where each person feels seen, respected, and supported.

I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In my work, I support individuals in identifying unhelpful thinking patterns, challenging cognitive distortions, and developing more balanced, realistic perspectives. This approach is especially effective for concerns such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and relationship challenges. My style with CBT is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each person. I don’t take a rigid, “worksheet-only” approach—instead, I integrate real-life experiences, emotional processing, and curiosity into our work. Together, we explore what’s underneath patterns, while also building concrete skills you can use in your daily life. I also incorporate elements of mindfulness, self-compassion, and motivational techniques to help clients not just change their thoughts but deepen their understanding of themselves. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported while also gaining tools that empower you to navigate challenges more confidently and independently over time.

I’ve only had a couple of sessions so far but I really appreciate her approach to therapy. I feel that with what we’ve done so far it’s helped me think about and acknowledge some of what’s been troubling me and caused me to seek therapy in the first place. For anyone on the fence of reaching out or scheduling an appointment I would heavily recommend doing so.
