I am a warm, compassionate, and experienced therapist who helps people slow down, understand their emotions, and make meaningful changes in their lives. With over three decades of experience working with individuals and families, I bring both empathy and practical insight to my work. My clients often feel comfortable opening up because I am genuine, thoughtful, and direct in a caring way. I also appreciate humor and believe it can be an important part of the healing process. I help people make sense of overwhelming feelings, gain clarity about their relationships and choices, and develop healthier ways of coping, communicating, and moving forward.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Together, we will identify your challenges and goals - where you want your life to be a month, six months, a year from now. Then, we'll identify options and strategies you can use to get there. You'll leave the session with a better understanding of what you're facing with an "actions I can take right now" approach. There will always be room for suggestions concerning our work together, including keeping each other accountable.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe my greatest strengths as a therapist are my warmth, compassion, and ability to truly listen and understand what my clients are going through. With many years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families, I bring both deep empathy and practical wisdom to my work. I help clients feel safe enough to be honest while also gently challenging them to grow. I’m direct in a caring way, and I value authenticity, connection, and even humor when appropriate to help people feel more at ease as they work through difficult emotions and life challenges.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are adults and couples who feel emotionally stuck, anxious, or overwhelmed and want help understanding why they feel the way they do. They may be struggling with relationship challenges, communication problems, or painful patterns that keep repeating in their lives. Many are thoughtful, caring people who want to grow, feel better emotionally, and create healthier relationships but need compassionate guidance and practical tools to move forward.
