I believe our greatest life’s work is to keep coming back to ourselves. If you've been suffering, I’d like to help you regain your inner peace. I've been a clinical psychologist for 12 years and have also completed a yoga teacher training program (E-RYT 200hr). So, for those seeking it, we will take a holistic approach to therapy, using both cognitive and somatic approaches to restore your peace. I acknowledge that sharing your thoughts and feelings is vulnerable and I believe it takes so much courage just to begin. It’ll be my honor to support you through your current struggles.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, I’d like to begin to understand what you’re coping with. I’d like to hear what you think is most important. I’ll ask background information to clarify your goals for therapy and to help us both begin to understand some of the experiences that have shaped your thoughts and beliefs. By the end of the first session, we will develop a treatment plan and decide how often to meet. This will be a collaboration. It’s your journey, but I’m right here with you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I ask open ended questions and invite your input. I aim to create an environment where you feel safe to say what you’re thinking and feeling. This is how you will benefit the most from therapy. I’d love for you to feel free and empowered in this process. This is a place to reconnect with yourself, without concern for judgement. The best thing you can do is show up, be authentic, and do the hard work. I’ll be cheering for you.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I specialize in adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, aging, and caregiving. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Supportive Psychotherapy, and am client-centered. I'm flexible in my approach, depending on your goals, this could mean that we focus exclusively on the present. However, for some, it will be helpful to look back over the years to understand where certain thought or behavioral patterns came from and how those patterns show up in your life and in your body today.
