I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I graduated with my masters of social work in 2012 from Marywood University in Scranton Pennsylvania. I have worked with diverse populations in my practice and am most comfortable assisting individuals develop goals and plans to better understand and cope with daily struggles. I want my clients to understand that where they are isn’t where they have to be
I like to start by asking what their expectations are and what experience they have with therapy so I may better understand the best practice for working with them. I will also introduce myself and speak to my background

I am best working with individuals that understand they have struggles and assist them to identify and develop strategies to cope with those struggles.
As a LCSW I engage clients where they are and build an alliance together to better understand where they are coming from and where they would like to be. Utilizing CBT better helps individuals to understand their patterns and how to change them over time to experience the outcomes they desire
I have been utilizing motivational interviewing in my practice to assess my clients interest and confidence in change and what they feel they are able to do at each step of therapy
