(she/her)
Hi, I’m Deborah. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania, and I’m here to support you through life’s challenges with care and understanding. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and later completed a Master’s in Counseling from Missio Seminary. My counseling approach is faith based, informing the way I support clients and structure the therapeutic process. For over a decade, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside others as they navigate anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, grief, life transitions and challenges. I strive to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported—where we can work together at your pace toward healing and growth.
In our first session, we’ll begin by getting to know each other and creating a space where you can feel comfortable sharing your story. From there, we’ll gently explore the challenges you’re facing, as well as the strengths you bring with you. I’ll also ask about what you’re hoping to gain from therapy, so we can shape our work around what matters most to you. Together, we’ll begin creating a path forward—one that supports your well-being and helps you move toward feeling better.
One of my greatest priorities is creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable exploring your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I approach therapy with compassion, curiosity, and hope. I draw from faith based and evidence-based approaches, tailoring our work together to support meaningful growth and healing—both within yourself and in your relationships.
I work with women, in every stage of life who are struggling with grief and anxiety related to life transitions and challenges. I also support women experiencing spiritual struggles, who are seeking support and spiritual guidance. As a Christian counselor, I provide a Christ centered approach that integrates clinical best practices with biblical principles. I aim to create a safe and supportive space where clients can pursue emotional healing, spiritual growth, and greater clarity in their relationship with God, themselves, and others.
