Hi, I'm Deborah. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing virtual therapy in Pennsylvania. I have been working in the mental health field since 2001 and specialize in providing evidence-based therapy and faith based counseling to those struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, academic and work stress, life transitions, and family and relationship difficulties. My aim is to provide holistic, integrative therapy that strengthens and heals the mind, body and spirit, and to provide practical coping skills and resources to navigate life's challenges. Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
My biggest strengths are providing a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel at ease processing your feelings, thoughts, and experiences, and from there, collaborating with you, providing the coping skills and resources to achieve your treatment goals.
Children, teens, college age students, women in life transitions, individuals on the autism specturm, who are seeking help for anxiety, depression, trauma, low self worth/self esteem. Individuals seeking Christian counseling.
I am trained in providing cognitive behavioral therapy approaches. This means that in sessions, we will understand how the way you think, can impact the way you feel and the choices that you make. You will learn evidence based coping skills and how to think and make choices that improve your mood and overall well-being.
