In your first session, I ask if you have anything pressing to discuss. I want to meet you where you are at in the present moment. If not, I will review your intake form with you. There are often questions I have after reading it. Please know that I do take notes during my sessions. This is for my focus and reference later.
In my therapy sessions, I use a strengths-based and solution-focused framework. We will tap into the things available to you to help you once we are no longer in therapy together. I also utilized some Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to change how you think about a problem.
