My name is Shaquila, a LCSW specializing specialize in supporting individuals through life transitions, anxiety, depression, women's issues, female adolescents and maternal mental health. My approach to therapy is rooted in evidence-based practices, with a deep understanding of the unique needs and experiences of women and mothers. I'm here to listen, validate your experiences, and help you find your inner strength and resilience.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

My therapeutic approach is client-centered and tailored to best meet each client's needs. I utilize CBT, Solution-Focused brief therapy, and a Strengths-Based perspective. I like integrating mindfulness techniques and the client's spiritual or faith-based practices. I provide reflective exercises at the end of our sessions for your continued growth because real change happens in your everyday life.

I have received additional training and am very passionate about Maternal Mental health and Women's issues. I also work with female adolescents, helping them navigate common problems such as identity and self-esteem issues, peer pressure, academic stress, and the complexities of social relationships.
