Hello, dear soul. My name is Carly. Does life feel overwhelming and hopeless? Do you feel like you have a purpose but you aren't living it? Perhaps you have been so worried about doing the "right" thing that you have forgotten about YOU and what you actually want and need. I empower creative, sensitive souls to turn down the voices of the outside world so they can hear the voice of their intuition. From this place of intuitive connection, we let go of what's not working in life and start figuring out how you can THRIVE. Our sessions will most likely weave in spirituality, writing/journaling, meditative practices, breathing exercises, and sound healing. If you are looking for a practitioner with a holistic approach, you've found her. Looking forward to working with you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session is an information-gathering session. We will discuss why you are coming to therapy, as well as information about your childhood, family, education history, work history, and more. I will be asking lots of questions, more than in our follow-up sessions. After we complete our intake session, the follow-up appointments will be more focused on what is currently going on in your life. As you go about your week, it may be helpful to make a mental or written note when experiencing struggles / frustrations / progress that you want to discuss in sessions. We will most likely incorporate a meditation or breathing exercise to get centered and then identify what you would like to discuss. I will provide support, education, and encouragement. You are the expert on your life.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

* Person-centered Therapy: first and foremost, I focus on being an open, compassionate, and non-judgmental listener. I believe that we all are striving towards wholeness. I help you to connect with the inner healer within you to bring about solutions. YOU are the expert on your experience. * Mindfulness, which encourages bringing attention/acceptance to the present moment. * Narrative Therapy, which helps us to identify your story and rewrite a new and more empowering one. *Internal Family Systems, which is a fancy way of saying we look at all the parts of you and integrate them. * Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which looks at the connection between our thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. We can change thoughts to create new emotional and behavioral experiences.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strengths are helping clients through life transitions, aka TRANSFORMATION. I help you to transmute pain and suffering into growth, joy, and love. If you have spent years internalizing the voice of parents, society, teachers, employers, and want to reclaim your sovereignty, I can help. If you have a desire to get in touch with your intuition and develop your spiritual strength, that is my wheelhouse.
