You've been feeling stuck and overwhelmed, bogged down by stressors and unsure where to start. You've taken the first steps towards bettering your mental health and seeking support. Our work together can build on your unique and individual strengths and needs, creating a foundation for coping with various life challenges. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey, I have 10 years of experience helping adults, children and teens using approaches that focus each individual's needs to support them in achieving their therapeutic goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, I like to get to know you. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy and the specific challenges you have been experiencing. We'll complete our initial intake assessment which will help us to create an individualized treatment plan that can guide our work together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My experiences working with children and families have provided me with an understanding of how complex and intricate interpersonal relationships can be. I've developed a thorough knowledge of working with individuals to identify the roots of present day challenges and develop skills to support them into the future.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Often times, we are unaware of what our unhelpful or irrational thoughts are; they can be automatic. By identifying and challenging unhelpful and negative thinking patterns we can create a shift in mood and responses to make long lasting changes.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness can address how the body is responding to distress. We can utilize mindfulness techniques to increase awareness and cope with stress in compassionate and nonjudgemental ways.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Every person is unique with their own individual experiences. We focus on establishing a rapport and safe, validating and trusting environment that is essential to a positive therapeutic experience.
