New to Grow
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 18 years of experience, I specialize in helping individuals and couples navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. I believe that our relationships—both with others and ourselves—are at the core of emotional well-being. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, you’re not alone. Therapy can feel like a big step, but it’s also a powerful one. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can gain clarity, build insight, and develop practical tools to create meaningful, lasting change.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you—your story, your current challenges, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I’ll walk you through the therapy process so you know exactly what to expect, and together we’ll begin identifying clear, personalized goals. My priority is to create a safe, comfortable environment where you feel heard, respected, and understood. From there, we’ll work collaboratively at your pace, building strategies and insights that help you move toward the life and relationships you want.
I utilize a Family Systems Approach by helping my clients identify unhealthy emotional and behavioral patterns they might be exhibiting that have a profound effect on their thoughts, feelings and actions. My goal is to help my clients develop new skills that will promote cohesiveness, teamwork and cooperation in their family unit. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions that work on identifying negative and unhelpful thoughts and faulty thinking. I help my clients in identifying ways emotions and thoughts can affect your actions and prevent you from living life to your fullest potential.
I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Gottman Method to help clients understand how patterns of thinking, emotion, and behavior develop—and how to change them. I work with clients to Identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, improve emotional awareness and regulation, break cycles of conflict and disconnection from relational problems and build healthier communication and coping skills. My goal is not just insight, but real, practical change—helping you feel more in control, more connected, and more aligned with your values.
I’m best positioned to work with adults, couples, and families who are struggling with anxiety, depression, past trauma, and ongoing relationship or family conflict. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or caught in patterns of disconnection that they don’t know how to change. I work well with individuals who want to better understand how past experiences may be impacting their current thoughts, emotions, and relationships, and who are ready to develop healthier coping strategies and a stronger sense of stability. I also specialize in working with couples and families who are experiencing communication difficulties, recurring conflict, or emotional distance. Together, we focus on improving understanding, rebuilding connection, and creating more effective ways of communicating and resolving issues. My approach is especially helpful for clients who are open to self-reflection, motivated for change, and looking for both emotional support and practical tools to improve their daily lives and relationships.
