I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with six years of experience as a therapist. I received my Master of Social Work degree from University of Southern California. I have a variety of experience ranging from individual and group psychotherapy services within a residential substance abuse center, to individual psychotherapy services provided within a Psychiatric department, to crisis intervention services. I am also trained in a variety of evidence-based practices including problem solving therapy, solution-focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as trauma-informed practices. I support my clients in working towards “living their best life” while building skills, increasing self-confidence and self-respect, as well as helping them to be mindful and accountable for their healing. Though I am the coach that helps to guide my clients towards overall wellness, they are the experts on their life and must be committed and intentional about their healing journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During your first session, we will complete your initial assessment that allows me to begin getting to know you, explore your needs, and gain a better understanding of what brings you to therapy. We will then collaborate on a treatment plan that will serve as a guide to achieving your goals for therapy. Lastly, we will explore options for a therapy schedule (ie weekly, biweekly, or monthly sessions) to ensure we are maintaining a consistent journey toward your healing.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have a wide range of experience and have worked with many different population groups, all of which has allowed me to grow not only as a clinician, but as an individual. As a trauma-informed and culturally-sensitive therapist, I understand that therapy needs to be individually tailored to your specific needs. I strive to ensure that my clients feel heard, understood, respected, and safe while in session with me.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am available to serve clients who are struggling, ready to make a change, and live their best life. Whether you have anxiety, depression, trauma or have issues in your relationships, you know that you want to be living differently and you’re just not sure how to make a change for yourself. You're discouraged from continuing towards your dreams and want a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive therapist who really sees you and hears you. You want to feel confident in yourself and live a life that is aligned with your values.
