Hi, I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Pastor in Pennsylvania. I have over 35 years' experience in the Mental Health Field. I have been trained as a family therapist early in my career and more recently, in the past 10 years, have focused more on trauma treatment, becoming certified as an EMDR therapist and now an approved Consultant in EMDR.
In our first session together will start with brief introductions then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me to create a tailored plan for us to work through the in follow-up sessions.
Having over 35 years' experience has helped me to have a deep understanding of families, trauma and how those things interact to help make us who we are today. I also have methods to assist people in finding freedom from thoughts and patterns in our lives that have us bogged down or stuck.
I love working with people who are struggling with anxiety and/or difficulties related to past hurts and trauma.
EMDR is effective in treating PTSD and it's symptoms. I have found it to be very helpful for most people.
My faith is a part of who I am. I will not tell you what you should or should not believe and yet my faith informs my thoughts and theories including love, grace, and forgiveness. I love seeing people find freedom healing and wholeness!
