Welcome! I’m so glad you are here. My name is Kori Jerles and I am a licensed professional counselor. I have a very relaxed, down to earth approach to life that I incorporate into my role as a mental health counselor. During my time in the field, I have worked in outpatient, school, and virtual settings with adolescents, young adults, adults, and LGBTQ+ individuals. My passion is to assist others in developing therapeutic tools and insights that will lead to new levels of self-empowerment and personal growth.
First sessions will include introductions, space to answer questions, and a heavy focus on foundationally building a strong therapeutic relationship! I place high priority on our rapport and ensuring clients feel safe and empowered.
I've been told by professional and personal connections that I'm skilled at providing a very warm, bubbly, and accepting energy. This allows clients to feel comfortable and open to exploring sensitive topics and areas of life. I also believe my passion towards supporting others and striving to meet people exactly where they are contributes towards effective treatment.
I work with individuals experiencing chronic stress, depression, anxiety, and/or who are experiencing challenges with identity, sexuality, relationships, wellness, and/or career. I am flexible in offering telehealth or in-person counseling services depending on client availability!
My approach to therapy is highly integrative and person-centered. I strive to meet clients where they are as I incorporate individual needs and differences into treatment planning. I also tend to utilize humor and pop culture, when appropriate!
