New to Grow
I’m glad you’re here. I believe therapy begins with feeling heard, understood, and supported. My goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where we can work together to navigate life’s challenges, build on your strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change. Every person’s journey is unique, so I tailor therapy to your individual needs and goals. Whether you’re facing a difficult season or seeking personal growth, I’ll meet you where you are and help you move forward with confidence, clarity, and hope.
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what’s been weighing on you, and what you hope to gain from our time together. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, and you’ll have the opportunity to ask me any questions as well. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported as we begin working toward the changes that matter most to you.
I bring a warm, approachable, and down-to-earth style to therapy. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, while also being challenged to grow. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. I combine compassion with practical tools to help you navigate challenges, build resilience, and move toward the life you want to create.
I support clients navigating trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, co-parenting challenges, and patterns related to emotional reactivity or entitlement. I also offer space for those who want to integrate their faith into therapy when it is meaningful to them. My approach is grounded in building insight, strengthening emotional regulation, and developing healthier relationships. I aim to provide a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel understood while also being encouraged toward real and lasting change.
Other specialties
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we explore unhelpful thought patterns that may be contributing to stress, mood challenges, relationship difficulties, or difficulty with emotional regulation. I support clients in developing more balanced thinking and practical coping strategies they can apply in daily life. The goal is to increase self-awareness, improve decision-making, and create lasting behavioral change.
Christian Counseling
I may integrate Christian counseling when it is meaningful to you and aligns with your goals. This can include exploring faith as a source of strength, hope, and guidance while working through life’s challenges. My approach is respectful and client-led, ensuring your values and beliefs are honored within the therapeutic process.
Couples Counseling
I help partners create a safe space to communicate more openly and honestly. We focus on improving understanding, strengthening emotional connection, and identifying patterns that may be contributing to conflict or distance. My approach is collaborative, helping both partners feel heard while working toward healthier communication, stronger boundaries, and more supportive relationship dynamics.
Trauma Informed Care
I focus on creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where you feel in control of your healing process. We work at a pace that feels manageable while building trust, emotional safety, and practical coping skills to help you process past experiences without becoming overwhelmed.
Psychoeducation
I use psychoeducation to help clients better understand how their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and nervous system responses are connected. I also provide practical information and tools to support insight, improve coping skills, and make the therapeutic process more understandable and applicable to everyday life.
