New to Grow
I believe life is made up of lessons—both good and difficult—and at times those lessons can feel overwhelming, confusing, and exhausting to navigate alone. Healing is a journey, and I recognize that meaningful change takes time. I dedicated myself to this field to remind others that our past does not define us, but is instead made up of experiences that can become opportunities for growth.
In our first session, I will bring an open mind and a supportive presence to better understand what brought you to therapy. We will discuss your current concerns and gather relevant background information. This will also be an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether working together feels like a good fit for you.
Building trust is not always easy, yet it is essential to any meaningful therapeutic relationship. I consider myself open-minded, genuine, and down-to-earth. I strive to bring my authentic self into each session and create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing your thoughts, experiences, and concerns.
My focus is working with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma-related symptoms, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. I strive to remain mindful and sensitive to differences in socioeconomic status, cultural background, and lived experience. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’ve been before, my goal is to create a safe space grounded in trust and mutual understanding.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how unhelpful thought patterns can influence the way they process emotions and shape their behaviors. Using this approach, clients learn to identify negative patterns, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and develop healthier perspectives that support lasting change.
Strength-Based
In my practice, I use a strengths-based approach to help clients develop a positive outlook on their personal strengths and unique qualities. By adopting a strengths-based lens, clients can begin to accept personal limitations while empowering themselves to view challenges through a more balanced and compassionate perspective.
