New to Grow
Hello, my name is Ruby Sanchez, and I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I believe life is made up of lessons—both good and difficult—and at times those lessons can feel overwhelming, confusing, and exhausting to navigate alone. Healing is a journey, and I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, build insight, and move toward meaningful change.
In our first session, I will bring an open mind to foster understanding and build trust, creating a space where you can share openly and feel heard. We will discuss your current concerns, gather relevant background information, and review your expectations and goals for treatment at a pace that feels comfortable for you. This will also be an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether working together feels right for you.
My approach is client-centered, strength based, and focused on resilience. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma-related symptoms, relationship challenges, or major life transitions, I aim to meet you where you are and tailor treatment to your unique needs and goals. I value authenticity and believe that growth happens when clients feel heard, validated, and empowered. Together, we can identify barriers, build on your strengths, and create practical tools to help you navigate your personal challenges and create lasting change.
My professional experience has primarily been working with adults; however, I welcome both teenagers and adults in my practice. I strive to provide quality care to anyone facing life challenges, regardless of socioeconomic status or cultural background. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, valued, and supported throughout your healing journey. I am here to listen, support, and remind you that you do not have to navigate life’s challenges alone.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how unhelpful thought patterns can influence the way they process emotions and shape their behaviors. Using this approach, client learn to identify negative patterns, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and develop healthier perspectives that support lasting change.
Psychodynamic
In my practice, I also incorporate a psychodynamic approach to help clients explore unconscious patterns and past experiences that may influence their current perspectives, behaviors, and relationships. By increasing self-awareness and insight, clients can better understand recurring patterns, process unresolved experiences, and make more intentional choices moving forward.
