I'm an experienced, compassionate social worker, who specializes in helping others to be their best selves, and to find hope. Each person is on their own journey, and I want to be able to help assist people who are struggling to reach their goals. I greatly value the importance of relationships and feeling connected, so I try to help others find the connections in their lives.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

We will work together to help you achieve your goals, and what you are looking for. You will be able to share and talk about your experiences in a warm and open environment, and you will have an opportunity to grow within the safe space that we create together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I use evidenced based therapies, including CBT and DBT. I specialize in working with clients with depression, anxiety, and substance use. I like to get to truly know my clients, and to have an understanding of their life experiences, what is important to them, and what their goals may be. This way, we can work together to begin to reach those goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best to serve individual adult or adolescent clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, insomnia, and work-life balance. The clients are wanting to engage in therapy, and they are open to working together to address goals, and to learn a variety of different coping skills. I have additional experience working with active duty service members, veterans, and their families, and clients who have chronic health conditions (such as being on dialysis).

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Working with and teaching clients DBT Skills, I've seen how it can assist clients with emotional regulation, communication skills and practicing self-compassion/self-care skills.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Working with and utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, this has helped clients learn to be more accepting of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Working with and utilizing CBT skills, this has helped clients see the connections between their thoughts and behaviors. I work with my clients to recognize how reducing unhelpful styles can help them to optimize behaviors and enhance their relationships with others.
