My goal is to work on eliminating the stigma associated with Mental Health and Addiction that would lead to embracing treatment and recovery. I use a person-centered approach, holistic, multicultural, motivational Interviewing, and integrative approach in treatment. This means I meet clients where they are, and work collaboratively to accomplish identified goals and skills needed for success. I have over 13 years’ experience working in the mental health and addictions field. I have experience working the following settings residential, outpatient, in-home, community based and hospitals and virtual settings.
The first session is an opportunity to us to decide if the therapeutic relationship is a good fit. After the first session clients can expect to feel there if a therapeutic relationship building and start to cultivate treatment goals and some strategies to help identify goals and ways to meet their identified goals.
