I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with nearly five years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care to adolescents and adults. I specialize in the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and psychotic disorders. My approach is collaborative and patient-centered, focusing on creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their treatment journey. I integrate thorough assessment, thoughtful medication management, and psychoeducation to help individuals achieve stability, improve functioning, and enhance overall quality of life. I am committed to delivering personalized care that addresses the whole person—not just symptoms—while promoting long-term wellness and resilience.

I combine evidence-based medication management with thoughtful, individualized care that prioritizes understanding your full story — not just a checklist of symptoms.

First session

Your first session is a comprehensive evaluation designed to understand you as a whole person — not just your symptoms. We will spend time discussing Your current concerns and what brought you in, Your mental health history, medical history and current medications, Family history, Sleep, appetite, energy, and daily functioning Stressors, relationships, work/school, lifestyle factors, and your goals for treatment. This is also your time to ask questions. I want you to feel informed, comfortable, and involved in your care. If medication is appropriate, we will discuss options in detail — including benefits, potential side effects, and alternative approaches — so we can make a collaborative, well-informed decision together. If medication is not needed, we will discuss other evidence-based strategies and supports. By the end of the session, you can expect: A clear understanding of your diagnosis (if applicable), A personalized treatment plan, Space to voice concerns, A plan for follow-up and next steps My goal is for you to leave your first appointment feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about your path forward.

Strengths

What sets my approach apart is the balance between clinical precision and genuine human connection. I combine evidence-based medication management with thoughtful, individualized care that prioritizes understanding your full story — not just a checklist of symptoms. I practice collaborative psychiatry. That means you are actively involved in decisions about your treatment. I take time to explain diagnoses, medication options, risks, benefits, and alternatives so you feel confident and informed — not rushed or dismissed.

She’s always so kind and encouraging. She makes you feel heard and included in the decision making process. She never makes it feel like a rushed choice or out of your control.
