Hello! I'm Lauren and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) specializing in working with adolescents and adults. With a collaborative and person-centered approach, I am committed to helping my clients navigate life changes, develop self-awareness and achieve their personal goals. My goal is to be a trusted partner in your journey towards mental and emotional well-being. I have over 15 years of experience in the field of counseling, working primarily in Residential Treatment Facilities and High School Settings. I have experience working with issues related to anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, adjustment and transition, interpersonal concerns, and issues around parenting. My experience in school settings has given me the opportunity to work extensively with people with learning disabilities. I also have a wealth of knowledge related to post-secondary planning and career exploration. In addition, I have experience working with LGBTQIA+ community members and underserved populations.

In our first session together I’ll ask you to tell me about yourself and why you sought therapy so that we can develop a plan to help you reach your therapeutic goals.

My niche is helping people navigate tough life circumstances. Whether it be a big life change, a loss, a change in family dynamic, or a natural life transition- my goal is to help my clients see their potential to overcome difficult circumstances. Sometimes life is just hard and it isn't due to anything you can identify. I'd like to help you through that as well.

Ages 14+ My strength is working with young adults who are having a difficult transitioning, struggling in a relationship, or experiencing mild symptoms of depression or anxiety.
