New to Grow
Welcome! I am Heidi Boatright, MS, LMFT, and I am glad you are here. Reaching out for support takes courage and my goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood and empowered to create meaningful change. With more than 15 years experience, I work with children, teens, adults, couples and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationship challenges, parenting concerns, life transitions, grief, stress and low self esteem. I also enjoy supporting individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck or uncertain about their next steps in life.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and it’s completely normal to feel unsure about what to expect. During our first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable and begin building a trusting relationship. We will spend time getting to know one another, discussing what has brought you to therapy, exploring your personal history, identifying your strengths, and talking about what you hope to accomplish. I’ll ask questions to better understand your concerns, but there is no pressure to share everything all at once. We will move at a pace that feels right for you. By the end of our first session, we will work together to identify meaningful goals and begin creating a plan that fits your needs. My hope is you will leave our session feeling heard, supported and hopeful about the path ahead.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is creating a space where people feel safe enough to be themselves. I believe healing begins when people feel genuinely heard, understood and accepted without judgment. Clients often describe me as warm, compassionate, approachable and easy to talk to. While I provide empathy and support, I also gently challenge unhelpful patterns and encourage meaningful growth. I strive to balance validation with accountability, helping clients gain insight while developing practical skills they can use in everyday life. As both a therapist and someone who has navigated life’s joys and challenges, I understand that every person’s story is unique. My experience working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families has taught me the importance of meeting people where they are and tailoring therapy to their individual needs rather than using a one size fits all approach. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, your relationship, or your family, my goal is for you to leave each session feeling understood, empowered and hopeful.
I enjoy working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families who are seeking meaningful change and greater emotional well being. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, family conflict, life transitions, trauma, ADHD, or parenting concerns. I strive to create a warm, supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe, heard, and understood. Together, we identify strengths, build practical coping skills, improve communication and work towards lasting, meaningful change. Whether you are navigating personal struggles, strengthening relationships or supporting your child’s emotional growth, I will meet you where you are and tailor treatment to your unique goals and needs.
