I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in practice in the Inland Empire area since 2014. I believe real change is a gradual evolution (hence my practice name Gentle Evolutions), and there are often many stops along the way. I bring a lot of warmth and genuine curiosity to that process, while also keeping sessions rooted in your therapy goals. I acknowledge the vulnerability that comes with sharing your story and identity with others and aim to create a space where you feel able to share 100% of what is coming to your mind. I provide stability for clients through the difficult times and ensure that we also celebrate the small successes in the therapeutic space.
Our first session is an opportunity for us to explore what is bringing you to therapy, including present and past experiences. We'll explore how things are going in every domain of your life to see how those may be affecting the primary reason you're coming to therapy. I always make sure to check that my understanding of your reasons for coming to therapy matches yours. At the end of a first session, we create goals that will guide our work together and keep us on track. During this session, you're also able to determine whether my personality and style fits what you're looking for.
I present a grounded, stable presence while in the therapy room. I have experience working with high acuity behaviors, such as suicidal ideation and self-harm, and value collaboration with my clients when working to address these and other behaviors. Many clients find that my style is non-judgmental, open, and inquisitive; I truly enjoy hearing my clients' perspectives and helping to develop further insight or present alternative perspectives that may not be obvious. I aim to provide validation and a supportive presence, while also gently challenging or highlighting patterns that cause continued distress in client's lives. My curiosity and challenges sometimes come in the form of respectful humor, and I hope to create a solid therapeutic relationship that helps clients feel vulnerable enough to share their struggles and successes.
My clinical background includes years of experience working with adults who are working through depression, anxiety, difficult family dynamics, parenting struggles, relationship break-ups, life transitions, and identity exploration. I'm especially drawn to working with adults who are ready to invest in their own growth and are looking for a grounded, warm therapist who is willing to explore that with them.

I find that the ACT modality presents an alternative to traditional CBT methods for clients who have previous experiences using CBT. ACT provides a wide variety of tools (cognitive defusion, mindfulness, and values-based decision-making) that can provide a shift in perspective and additional tools for clients.
I am a passionate provider of gender-affirming therapy and aim to stay up-to-date with the medical, legal, and mental health aspects of transition. I bring an open and inquisitive mindset to sessions and work collaboratively with clients to explore their identities and desires for a life worth living.
CBT provides a strong foundation for those experiencing anxiety and depression, as well as a myriad of other symptoms. I present CBT interventions as an opportunity to assist clients in shifting perspective and challenging persistent negative thoughts.
