Hi there, I am am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my masters from Azusa Pacific University and have been practicing for 8 years. Are you looking for a safe space where you can be your true self and process through unresolved problems/events? I truly believe that you are capable of overcoming hardships on your own, however sometimes it can get really intense and difficult to cope alone. Whether you are dealing with relationship issues, stress related to career/school, feeling depressed or anxious, I am here to help. Taking the first step in seeking therapy can feel like a big decision but I am proud of you. You deserve to feel seen, acknowledged, and heal to grow. In our sessions, I will meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the barriers holding you back, while providing you with my observations and thoughts.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. We will also go over history of your challenges and your family history/dynamics. Together we can identify what is not working and get you back on track by exploring new ways that work for you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am experiences working with the military and have training in military culture and concerns in the systems, challenges experienced by active duty service members, veterans, and their families. I can also help you identify the root cause of your challenges and create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is an approach that is used to explore how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We will also explore coping strategies together that works for you and develop new ways of managing moods and wellbeing. I use mindfulness interventions to promote relaxation while becoming present and focused.
