You don’t have to carry this heavy weight alone. I specialize in helping adults across New Jersey and Pennsylvania navigate the lingering impacts of trauma, anxiety, and burnout. You might feel high-functioning but internally exhausted, seeking a safe, unhurried space to heal. Through secure, telehealth sessions, we will work together to gently unpack unhelpful patterns and build realistic coping strategies at your own pace. My goal isn't to "fix" you, but to help you safely process trauma so you can reclaim your calm and resilience

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what led you to reach out, what has been feeling difficult lately, and what you hope to get out of therapy. I may ask questions about your current concerns, important life experiences, relationships, and any previous experiences with counseling. There is no pressure to share everything right away. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, understand what support you’re looking for, and begin developing a plan together for moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can better understand yourself while also building tools that support change in everyday life. I am EMDR-trained and integrate EMDR when appropriate to support processing difficult experiences. I incorporate Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT) principles when appropriate for anxiety- and OCD-related concerns. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I work collaboratively with clients to understand their goals and adjust treatment to meet their individual needs and comfort level.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I help adults navigate anxiety, complex trauma, grief, and toxic family dynamics—especially those who grew up with emotionally immature or alcoholic parents. My clients are often deep thinkers who feel stuck in old patterns but want to respond to life differently. Together, we work toward healing past wounds, building self-awareness, and creating more peace and self-trust in the present. I also have experience working with the LGBTQ+ community and strive to help individuals feel understood and empowered in their healing journey.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I integrate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) into my therapy work as a way to help clients process painful experiences that may still feel “stuck” in the body and mind. EMDR is an evidence-based approach that uses bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements or tapping, to activate the brain’s natural ability to heal. Together, we safely revisit past memories, present triggers, or future fears, and work to reduce the emotional intensity they carry.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I am also informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts work approaches, which can help clients explore different aspects of themselves with greater curiosity and compassion. Many clients find this helpful for understanding emotional patterns, self-criticism, trauma responses, and conflicting feelings or needs.

Attachment-based

I also draw from attachment-based approaches when appropriate, helping clients explore how early relationships and past experiences may influence current emotional patterns, relationships, boundaries, and sense of self.
