I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who focuses on helping teens and adults feel more like themselves again. I work with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood changes, and everyday life stress that can start to feel overwhelming. I grew up in the San Fernando Valley and before becoming a provider, I worked as a nurse in psychiatry and briefly in the emergency room, and I’ve also worked with youth in the juvenile justice system. Those experiences shaped how I approach care. I understand how complex life can be, and how important it is to feel heard and supported. My style is collaborative, down to earth, and compassionate. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. When appropriate, I combine medication management with supportive therapy and practical strategies you can actually use in your daily life. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being open, while also helping you make meaningful, realistic progress toward feeling more stable, focused, and in control.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll take the time to really understand what’s been going on for you. I’ll ask questions about your symptoms, your history, and what you’re currently struggling with, but there’s no pressure to share everything all at once. We’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We’ll also talk about your goals what you’re hoping to feel differently or improve in your daily life. From there, we’ll create a plan together. If medication is appropriate, we’ll discuss options, benefits, and possible side effects so you feel informed and involved in the decision. You’ll leave the first session with a clearer understanding of what’s going on and a plan for next steps. My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and not alone in the process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my biggest strengths is being able to connect with clients in a way that feels natural and not overly clinical. I create a space where people feel comfortable being honest, while also helping them make real, practical changes in their day to day lives. My background working in psychiatry, the emergency setting, and with youth in the juvenile justice system has given me experience with a wide range of mental health needs. It’s helped me stay calm, flexible, and focused even when things feel overwhelming for my clients. I take a balanced approach to care. When appropriate, I combine medication management with supportive therapy and practical strategies. I’m thoughtful about prescribing and don’t believe in overmedicating. I focus on what’s actually going to help you function better and feel more like yourself. I also focus on making things understandable. I take the time to explain what’s going on, why certain treatments are recommended, and what to expect, so you feel informed and involved in your care. Overall, I aim to provide care that is supportive, collaborative, and focused on real, lasting progress, not just short-term relief. Practice policy: ***Benzodiazepines are not prescribed or continued as part of ongoing treatment. Alternative, evidence-based treatments will be discussed. ***This practice does not guarantee Stimulant prescriptions. Non-stimulant and behavioral treatments are prioritized, and stimulants are prescribed only when clinically appropriate following evaluation. ***Requests for Disability, Leave of Absence, or EDD documentation are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. These forms are completed only when clinically appropriate and supported by a thorough assessment. Establishing care does not guarantee approval of disability or leave documentation.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with teens and adults who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or not like themselves lately. This can look like anxiety, low mood, ADHD symptoms, trouble focusing, burnout, or just feeling mentally exhausted trying to keep up with everything. A lot of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but struggling internally. They may be dealing with stress from school, work, or relationships, and are looking for real support—not just quick fixes. They want to understand what’s going on and feel more in control of their thoughts, emotions, and daily life. I take a collaborative and down-to-earth approach. When appropriate, I incorporate medication management along with supportive therapy and practical strategies you can actually use in your day-to-day routine. I focus on helping you build awareness, improve coping skills, and make changes that feel realistic and sustainable. Clients who are open to the process and ready to work toward change tend to get the most out of working with me. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and understood—while also helping you make meaningful progress.
